I had to go check to make sure it actually wasn't him.

This is going to be their biggest challenge yet. Clearly the leader on the community is trying to break the group by splitting them up and giving them "jobs". At least Rick, Carol, and Darryl seem to realize that and aren't showing their cards yet. Carol lied about her husband and past. Darryl isn't opening up and Rick is trying his best to be on this lady's good side, yet keeping an ace up his sleeve. God damn Carl still cant stay in the house like he is told.

Now we just have to wait until the end of the season until we really find out what is going on.

Having not read the comics (although I've picked up a little), I'm not sure what to make of this. The woman leader does seem to be the typical politician with something to hide...but all I've really seen so far is a natural and expected unwillingness to trust from Rick's group. Seems to be - and should be - the same from the other group.

One thing that was interesting was the amateur ROTC dude on the supply dry run. Knowing what it's really like, and what is actually out there, you could tell the supplies they had doesn't add-up for Glenn relative to the obvious inexperience of ROTC out in the wild.

The other obvious question is where did they get the supplies (and labor) to put those walls up around a pretty substantial footprint? Woodbury seemed to have a lot more people, and their walls were much more makeshift.

Plus, the two gay guys who "watched" them for 3 weeks didn't really seem able to handle themselves, so how the heck do they make it alone out there for 3 weeks?

I haven't read the comics but I've looked at the wiki. I think the person who said hi to rick last night while smoking a cigarette was Donovan. I've seen nothing but bad things about him. Anyways someone is definitely watching them that they don't see. Who saw Rick put his gun in that black thing then it was gone when he went back? The whole place is very creepy and obviously there is something going on there that they aren't showing. Maybe some larger group built the place and those people took it over?

I really liked the tempo and content of last night's episode, if they are weak, just take the town over. Wondering if the Alexanderians are feigning their ability to defend themselves, you would think a large complex close to a very important large city would have been attacked a few times over the last few years.

I haven't read the comics either and dont plan on it. didn't the lady say they could have their own guns when they go back out? why did glenn and the others take the pea shooters the ROTC douche gave them? and no one is guarding the walls? these guys all seem like amateurs. I almost wonder if they conned the previous owners on of the community and took it over that way. I definitely don't seem them doing it by brute force.

the fact that Rick knows someone took the gun and didnt show that it bothered him, means to me that even though he is going on with the politician's plan, he still has a plan up his sleeve. I wonder if the army built this place. I find it hard to believe only a few people built it. plus, how come we never met her husband?

Is she married though? I definitely see a battle raging with her son and the group. I think that girl who Carl chases knows what really is going on.

I need to watch this episode again. Feel like I missed a bunch.

i thought she said her husband helped build the walls.

It's also pretty weird that she would make Rick and Michonne cops....trying a bit too hard to gain their trust (and Rick seems to see right thru it). Anyone know if Rick can carry a gun as a cop?

Can't believe Rick didn't lose it the first time she asked them to surrender their weapons.

Haven't watched TWD for quite some time now. Better catch up with the episodes..

    She definitely said "her husband".

Lots going on in last nights episode without a lof of "action". Tons of unanswered questions leading up to the finale in 3 weeks. The Morgan St. sign behind Rick at the end of the episode was a nice touch. Think we could see him soon. Also the "A" stamp. Same "A" that scratched on the church and the car that took beth. The "W" that was branded on the walkers head was a nice touch of things to come as well.

Last night's episode may have been the most boring episode in the history of the show. Next week's doesn't look any better. I hate what they're doing, there's too much potential not to watch...but I find myself barely entertained in most episodes. I set a weekly high score in bejeweled blitz during last night's airing....that shows you how good it was.

...There is a lot going on with these people & it's not going to be good. When Carol opened the freezer for some candy, I thought she was going to find body parts and where the hell did all the hand guns come from...past visitors to this town that never left???

Definitely a slow episode. A lot of symbologyism in it, though.

Deanna said the army told her to get to Alexandria right when it started because she was on her way to Ohio to help her district. With all of the green energy going on, it seems feasible that the government did indeed create that city. Maybe that means the government knew this shit was going to go down, and they wanted to have some kind of safe haven to go to. They obviously didn't erect and set up the solar panels. She did say her husband was an architect, and they got the material from a construction site nearby. Who knows, maybe the army helped erect the wall then went out to help more people....

All I know is the A and the W on the walker forehead coupled with the emo girl definitely makes me think something crazy is going to happen.

Why does everyone assume it was a W and not an M :RpS_sneaky: I never noted the A (the writing doesn't inspire me to watch that closely). Hard to speculate. I was thinking maybe it was like a scarlett letter thing, and all "W" meant was that walker had at one time been in the camp (probably of the people they kicked out). Based on Rick's reaction he was thinking the same thing. Maybe he'll go back to take another look at that body.

A lot of things with Alexandria don't make sense. Doesn't seem to make sense to Rick, Daryl and Carol, either (and probably Michonne, though she seems to be trying really hard to believe). They don't have the manpower to have built/secured that place, much less keep it. Someone was living there (look at all the photos), but there's no signs of a struggle or being overrun walkers - so where did the people go?

I wonder if that awkward kiss wasn't actually Rick testing her to see if she was really married...and I mean that in the sense he's trying to figure out what's real and what's just an act.

There's gotta be something up with the support being on the "outside" of the walls. I'm thinking maybe the walls were built to keep something in rather than keep something out.
  • Ytowngirlinfla
They definitely don't have enough people to have the supplies that they have there. All those guns and food supply is a lot for what seems to be middle aged men and a lot of women.

I don't know how the "A" would tie together. Wasn't the priests place in Atlanta area?

Only 3 more episodes which I'm sure will tie up a lot of what is really going on in this place.
