Starts this summer. Should be interesting.

Really? Nothing in this thread since last night?

Thought it was a good episode. Shit's about to go down.

Last night's episode was another waste. The revolving door scene was awesome, but that was only like 5-minutes tops. Other than that, we didn't learn much...

I think it's significant that we learned that Gabriel is a two faced bitch. Also, I never thought of the idea that the group could actually be the threat this time around. It's an interesting dynamic to say the least. We also learned why there's so few people; they have the idea that you get left behind; screw you. There was a lot of things going on that were subtle I guess that makes you think.

Yes, we learned that they do not help each other out. It's every man for himself.

    Meh.

Is that really anything earth-shattering tho? I mean, realistically... if there was a zombie apocalypse... wouldn't you kinda expect an "every man for himself" type attitude?

How they deal in general is probably more realistic....we take for granted how easy it generally is for Rick's group. I think the key is - and they tested this on Mythbusters - if you're not willing to put yourself at risk and [literally] get your hands dirty, then you rely on a gun and that gets you into trouble when there's more than a few walkers.

What? Glenn & Abraham risked their lives. Even Eugene found a pair of nuts.

Where did he find a spare collar?

Think he meant we learned the Alexandrea people are every man for themselves, not Ricks group

    The other group, nerd.

I'm not sure how anyone can say this episode was a waste. Learned a lot and know it looks like Rick has to kill someone. I'm sure the fall out of her son dying is going to be crazy.

I think it'll be interesting to see how it's told. Is her other son going to point fingers at Glenn and Eugene, or is he going to stick to the "our protocol says every man for himself." I could see him trying to blame Glenn for his death, which will cause an even bigger divide between the Alexandrians and the group.

    5 points from Sonofanump.

Other than the last 5 minutes of the show I thought it was boring. I do get though that they are trying to show how they can't live normally like the others. I can't wait to see next weeks episode though. 90 minutes should be really good.

I thought....."great episode....why can't every show be that well-written and acted?"...then they reminded us of how bad that all sucks with the whole "kill him send him away" bit.

Simply a show that strives for mediocrity. No other way to put it.

I wonder why Michone knocked him out? Was it because she feels the same but doesn't want anything to go down yet or because she has now officially severed ties with him?

This. She just wanted to shut him up. She feels the same. She realized it when she was out in the woods. Wtf am I doing without my katana?

That's what I thought. The season finale is going to be pretty damn good next week.

Agree with this 100. I thought this past show was once again "boring". Other than Rick going ape-sh!t and having a male-lion vs. male-lion fight with that one dude, once again nothing really happened. The "Ahhh!" moment of this season has been... at first we thought there was going to be something weird/abnormal about the people of Alexandria; but as the season has gone on, we're really finding out that there's nothing wrong per se with the people of Alexandria, rather it's Rick's people / our people that are now the 'messed up' ones. As Ytowngirlinfla stated... these people can no longer live normal lives. It's the whole, 'you've-created-an-outdoor-cat-and-now-you-cant-try-to-domesticate-it' thing. I actually kinda really like that idea/theme for the season... but I think they've done a poor job producing it. I mean... honestly... we're at the Season Finale pretty much and exactly what action/entertainment has actually happened this season other than losing Noah?!?! Not much.

I think Michone knocked Rick out because she saw how irrational Rick was acting. I think the scene before where Michone was out chasing down whatshername and then started shooting Walkers and having flashbacks to her animalistic katana days showed that she was having a very real cathartic moment. I think the point is... Michone had her cathartic moment. She was able to unleash that built-in/pent-up rage in a productive way (killing Walkers). Rick on the other hand... he was never able to really have that cathartic/release-of-aggression-moment, and I think we saw that when he finally unleashed his aggression on that guy at the end. Michone knew Rick would 'go there' (i.e., go that far, kill the guy). She was actually doing Rick a favor by knocking him out. Again, it ties in wiht the theme of the season... the problem is no longer OTHERS; this season's problem is US/the-group. They've changed. There's no going back and trying to start a new life the way life used to be. This group is now animalistic and you can't turn that alley cat into a housecat anymore.
