  So my clan is disbanding so I'm looking for a clan. Would love to come to Dover clan but I would need to bring a few others. One person for sure because I got him into clans. He's lvl 66 but he just started and will be higher soon enough since he plays a lot.
  
  His two roommates might join but idk for sure if they will. They're a couple so it'd have to be both...he's lvl 100. She's 55 lol.
  
  It's your guys' call no big deal if you don't want that many people to join.

  We have 23 in now. If you are 102, you'd be #3 in our clan based on the XP number.

  My clan just made it to lvl 4...I'm diggin' the clan perk system. Level 5 is what I'm most excited for...As one of the 5-6 TH10's in the clan, people are constantly requesting "max golem" or "max hounds", yet most of our TH10's are not very active except for war attacks, so it's tough to get those troops in return for myself, and I'm the one who needs them more facing the top 5 of the opposing clan usually..I usually just find a way to lure and take 2 witch 2 wiz, 3 barbs to take out the CC and bring all of my own max troops.
  
  I'm up to 4.4mil heroic heist (dark elixir), BK 28 and AQ 30....It's really a grind now, but I'm still pushing them.
  
  All lab upgrades are max (jump upgrading now), except Valks....which are level 1, lol. Now comes the tough decision of keeping all of my hard earned DE for heroes or upgrading the Valks...I'll prob upgrade Valks to get it over with after I get BK 30.

  Need dark elixir. Upgrading bk takes forever and so do walls. Yeesh. I think I'm going to have drop 20.

  I literally just gave in and finally downloaded this game just on Sunday.
  
  What's the best strategy early on? I quickly learned elixir production is king early with gold production a close second.
  
  What ever that? Keep killing the goblin forest until you develop enough strategy to have a clue?
  
  I haven't fixed the clan castle yet, so I am still alone and have 1 day left on the protection. Currently have:
  
  TH3
  EC5x3
  ES4x2
  GM5x2
  GM4
  GS5
  GS4
  Cannon3
  Cannon4
  AT3
  Mortar1
  Barracks2
  Barracks3
  AC3
  AC2
  
  and 2 builders (saving gems to get a 3rd...have 307 now).

  Most of ours are TH9 too. Taking it easy in upgrading everything. We had a TH10 jump way too early and caused a lot of losses in our wars. I think you'd fit fine.
  
  And...we just made clan lvl 4! So, it's nice to have donating ability of 6. 5 is extremely nice.

  I'm no expert, by any means...but, get your elixir drills and gold mines maxed ASAP. That gets you gold and elixir more and more. A major suggestion many have is upgrade ALL items before you upgrade TH -- I never did that, but I understand why...but, am doing it for TH9 to TH10.
  
  Farm as much as you can, when you can. This gets you the additional gold/elixir you may need. Basically, put your TH as far away from your base as possible to allow people to destroy it and put your storages in the middle protected by all defense. When you farm, use low costing troops to attack high-earning bases -- i.e., barbarians and archers (barching) costs very little and gets you high reward if you can find bases with thousands of gold/elixir. I wasted a lot of money early on using wallbreakers and spells trying to attack bases for gold/elixir return. Didn't pay off AT ALL.

  Yeah, so far everything has been like every other real time tower defense game. Build your resource generators early, storage in the center, defenses all around it, things that don't matter outside the wall.
  
  I am more interested at this point in some early battle strategies (you mentioned the barching, which I have mostly done so far as I only have those 2 and giants available).
  
  It became obvious early to spread the troops around since mortars will destroy bunches real quick, are giants to take the damage and archers to do ranged damage a better plan than barching against multiple mortars?
