  mine is the same way. since I have been opting out of the wars, my base has started to boom. we war about 3 times a week and lose almost every one of them. so its not worth it.

  When you request to join, say you're from the OC. That should help get you in...or say that ThePonchat sent you. It's been fun. We have been warring a lot recently -- almost a war every other day. Just on a hot spell right now and people want to keep going.

  I've prob mentioned in this thread somewhere, but I got burnt out of boosting and barching in late 2014...I have like 800m gold grab/elixir, primarily from barching last year.
  
  Since the end of last year I've just been running balloonion raids every 2-3 hours throughout my work day, making about 15-20k DE per day to keep feeding the heroes.
  
  A person in my clan turned me onto mass healer/AQ raids, so I'm doing it for the first time today...Targeting TH9 bases with around 2k DE, in masters 2, so 700 DE bonus....12 healers, archers for funnel, and 8 WBs or so....clear the trash to the sides, send AQ and 12 healers in the middle...She will remain unharmed the entire raid, take a lightning just in case there are CC troops...The raid will time out due to walls, but the AQ will have full health, and you will get 2,000 DE + 700 bonus...I can do this every 1 hour since the bottleneck with loonion is spells...This strategy uses zero spells, or 1 lightning if CC troops.
  
  Give it a shot, it'll work with AQ level 20+...Maybe 15...and max healers.

  The other clan is REALLY bad at attacking. 22 attacks, 22 stars for them so far.

  That's right. I remember now. You might be seeing me. I tried to opt out of this current war, but he added me anyway.
  
  Our leader declares was as soon as one war ends. We won 3 in a row and we've tied the last 2 wars. Currently doing 10 vs 10 which I hate.

  I may have to give this a try. My max archer research is in the process, but once it's done, it sounds pretty nice, and relatively low-cost.
  
  Honestly, the cost has been my biggest complaint with my current lavaloonion strategy. It gets results, but I spend about 215K in elixir and about 2200 in DE per attack. Gets great results in war, though. This past war, I got all 6 stars attacking their #2 and #3 (the one we lost that I was lamenting earlier in the thread) with the lavaloonion attack. Being able to 3-star high-ranking opponents makes the war loot totally worth it ... if you win. Though actually, even the loot in a loss covered one attack completely.
  
  EDIT: I did mean to ask: Are you also keying on bases that have specific defense levels? Seems like maxed air defenses would rip the 12 healers to shreds, even if the AQ takes out a few of them before that time comes. I'd definitely be interested in seeing such an attack play out.

  May be looking for a new clan soon. A lot of the people in my clan left over the last few days. Clans pretty weak. If it doesn't get better I'm out of there.

  I may look for a new one as well. Current one seems to have grumblings about warring too often (we war once a week) and a few members are saying they want to go to warring once a month.
  
  If that actually happens, I'm out.

  We do once a week. Same day and same time. It helps maximize involvement, because people can schedule. The last two wars, we've had 24 of 25 people use both attacks (and the one-off was some dick who left the clan after war started each time), so it seems to help.

  I'm fairly new to the game (within the last couple months), and we started a new clan for people who are newer. Problem is, two very experienced players joined, making our matchups much more difficult, and then they never participate in wars. I'd like to get them booted, but we have exactly 10, so we can't war if we do. We are almost always warring, so if someone is newer and looking for a clan, let me know.
