    They continued walking to the train station, I as the adult (in the NFL case the Dolphins management) made sure everything was ok and it was. No violence...the boys went on and it is a story for their friends.

    It was surreal. I have no idea why those ladies did that. But this sort of thing happens.

    When I first heard the voicemail, etc. I thought that sounded pretty ridiculous and above and beyond standard asshole, veteran-to-rookie behavior. But, as the story continues to get reported (i.e. article that iclfan posted) I think MB may have it right. Beginning to sound like Martin is a wuss more than anything.

    The racial stuff shouldn't be tolerated, but when it comes to the workplace, people have to deal.

    To this day I would love to send a nasty e-mail to people that treated me like crap when I worked for them.....i don't do it. And I had to deal with a lot of crap.

    A white guy called a black guy a n***** in the workplace. Guess that means nothing to dolphins fans. Who gives a fuck if he's a sissy? What does that have to do with the fact that he was harassed by a fellow coworker?

    Martin is too dark skinned, that's the problem.

    When you listen to tannehill, the WR, a letter written by a former player that was read today on MM, and other accounts from players that say Incognito was basically an honorary black guy, and that Martin would have called him his best friend up till the last day, etc....I am changing what I first thought of Incognito.
    About that 15K bill, well, they said it was a tradition the OL does, they pay in advance, Martin said he was going, and then back out and they were wanting him to pay.
    About toughening him up.....they said he was very shy, standoffish and wouldnt participate. The white WR said that why would the coaches ask a racist, jerk, etc, to toughen him up? They asked Incognito, of whom most considered him to be best friends with, to help bring Martin out of his shell.
    Teh getting up at the table.....taht is a long standing joke that everyone has had played on them....sometimes more than once.

    Everyone gets all up in arms when someone saysn ******. Well, newsflash, it is said all the time and many times it is no harm meant and not malicious. The media has to be all alarmed about it because, well, if they are not then they must be racist too.

    Count me in for backing incognito. Did he go too far? Probably, but to be villfied like this is giong way too far and only done because if they dont, then well they must be insenstive right?

    I assume you are being sarcastic but I want to comment.

    Most people feel like they need to blow this up to prove they are NOT racist. Kinda like the Kramer and aids walk ribbon scenario. If you dont speak up against something, you must be for it right? So when these pundits on the regular news shows who havent ever wetted a jock hear this stuff they have to fly off the handle to prove they arent racists or condone bullying, because if they dont then that means they are a bully, right?
