Will Zimmerman get a fair trial in the Travon Martin case?

  Did anyone see Rachel Jeantel on Piers Morgan last night? Yea, me neither. But she said that she thought Zimmerman was a gay rapist and TM was homophobic. That's why TM jumped GZ. So it wasn't racial at all. It was gay-bashing and the perp died in the incident. After all, we do have a hate crime on our hands.

  No doubt. So is it a hate crime because he would hate a rapist or a because he thought he was gay? Def a hate crime going on so I think they need to put TM on trial for beating up someone whom he thought was gay.

  Comes as no surprise she didn't share that at the trial. And I think she may have it 100% correct.
  
  And in that scenario, TM is no doubt tried as an adult. But, no, Zimmerman killed some "innocent kid".

  Jesus this keeps getting crazier and crazier. The lawyers at my firm think it's ridiculous that it was even tried and 13 out of 13 said all predicted he would be not guilty... Pretty good for litigators lol

  C'mon, it was obvious to anyone with half a brain that Zimmerman's best lawyer may have been the DA as far as establishing reasonable doubt. Yeah, in that scenario this had no business going to trial. But we had indications of that since police wouldn't arrest, and the local DA wouldn't charge him...
  
  The case was purely politically motivated. That said, I'm not sure the national attention it got was such a bad thing. It should force reasonable people to think carefully about their actions, finding themselves in the situation of either Zimmerman or TM.
  
  I would also normally tend to side with going to trial in this scenario. While I trust the judgement of the law on whether they can get a conviction (or whether he may not be guilty), I think it is perhaps appropriate to go to trial when you use lethal force in self-defense BUT your ill-advised choices put you in that situation.
  
  I also think Martin's family should go after Zimmerman in civil court so he will have to testify and we can finally get his side of the story under cross-examination. Based on comments from a few of the jurors, it's unlikely to win a civil judgement against Zimmerman. But if I'm family I simply want to see him on the stand.

  Yea, if you watched the trial from a neutral prospective there was no evidence at all to convict. I honestly feel the defense didn't even need to present a case at all could have rested after prosecution was done

  Wow, that juror also said initially she and 2 others favored acquittal, 2 wanted manslaughter, and then 1 was for Murder 2.
  
  After reviewing the definitions and evidence they agreed on acquittal. But that's shocking after sitting thru the trial 3 wanted to convict, much less Murder 2.
  
  SMH...I guess that jury was representative - 3 smart people, 2 dumb people, and 1 really dumb person.

  After watching Al Sharpton parade around in his ridiculous suits for the past several months, the verdict was extremely satisfying.
  
  Is anyone else disturbed by Attorney General Eric Holder's insistence to bring Zimmerman "to justice" and change the laws of self-defense? While the whole ordeal is certainly tragic, based on the evidence that we have, on the night of the incident Mr. Zimmerman appears to have conducted himself in a manner that is absolutely congruent with the textbook definition of self-defense.

Would u post this on an email with your name on it and post it to your boss, mom,or local paper? I doubt it but sadly on this site someone agrees with it. Smh
