Good stuff along with Automatik's comment you quoted. His comment slipped right by me.justincredible;1402081 wrote:We've never roasted them first, but we generally cook our sweet potatoes this way. We've baked them in "fry" form a few times as well. -

Huh? I am pretty sure Br and Auto both commented on it. I am just trying to motivate the little guy so he doesn't find any more cop out excuses to get off his diet. Sorry I am not coddling him to your liking. Should I hand him a free cookie to make him feel better when I explain to him when push comes to shove, he just has to be mentally tougher?justincredible;1402080 wrote:Maybe no one else commented because it isn't important and adds nothing to the thread? -

The difference is they weren't being dicks. Seriously, being a dick to someone online isn't motivation. This is my last comment so sleeper can put the popcorn away. I just don't like when longstanding threads full of nothing but goodwill go astray. My sincerest apologies.like_that;1402087 wrote:Huh? I am pretty sure Br and Auto both commented on it. The thread was/is fine. Rawdawg is a dick all the time. I am sure he can handle some ball busting. Sorry, but when it comes to dieting and excercising there is no ***** footing it. Pretty much hard work and discipline is what it takes to reach your goals. Sometimes people need a rude awakening, instead of being pampered when they are trying to ***** their way out of it.justincredible;1402090 wrote:The difference is they weren't being dicks. BR, why do you say coconut oil is better than olive oil? I see a lot of articles that take both stances. Doesn't seem one or the other is the "correct" answer. -

I'll have to agree with this post. Reps.like_that;1402091 wrote:The thread was/is fine. Rawdawg is a dick all the time. I am sure he can handle some ball busting. Azubuike24The best place to buy coconut oil is Trader Joe's. 16 oz of unrefined, virgin coconut oil for $5.99. The easiest way to know the difference is it should taste and smell like coconut. The unrefined stuff does not.

Personal preference. You can do a lot more with coconut oil. For women, it can also be used for skin/hair care.like_that;1402092 wrote:Anyway, good talk. /justin

Never really had coconut oil, so I don't know. I am a big fan of the taste of olive oil though. Tastes really well with eggs.justincredible;1402094 wrote:For me it's taste. -

Fair enough. I thought pressing the issue and then teaming up on him was unnecessary so I commented. Notice I didn't say cut it out or threaten to thread ban? I just brought up why I disagreed with the approach.like_that;1402091 wrote:The thread was/is fine. Rawdawg is a dick all the time. I am sure he can handle some ball busting. Walmart started selling the unrefined/virgin stuff, finally. They were selling some hydrogenated chit....or something to that effect.Azubuike24;1402095 wrote:The best place to buy coconut oil is Trader Joe's. 16 oz of unrefined, virgin coconut oil for $5.99. Stir half a spoonful in some hot tea. It tastes great and acts as a lip balm.BR1986FB;1402096 wrote:Personal preference. You can do a lot more with coconut oil. For women, it can also be used for skin/hair care. -

Same here. Don't get me wrong, I'll cook beef in evoo and use it on salads but coconut is my "go to" cooking oil.justincredible;1402094 wrote:For me it's taste. -

I've seen people put it in coffee such as Primal Toad. Think Azubuike24 mentioned something about putting it in his coffee, earlier in this thread, too.justincredible;1402105 wrote:Stir half a spoonful in some hot tea. It tastes great and acts as a lip balm. -

Actually sounds like a good idea. Might have to try this. Def couldn't do this with olive oil. Would this be breaking the leangains fasting though (br, auto)?justincredible;1402105 wrote:Stir half a spoonful in some hot tea. It tastes great and acts as a lip balm. -

If you're putting it in tea during your fast, yes. Coconut oil doesn't skimp on the calories and it will technically break your fast.like_that;1402113 wrote:Actually sounds like a good idea.
