100-150 grams of fat a day and triglycerides of 26...funny how this stuff works isn't it?

Gotta go buy another small freezer tonight. Picking up 250 lbs of assorted grassfed burger, steaks, stew meat & roasts tomorrow.

What do you guys use for BBQ sauce? Had pulled pork for lunch and was thinking would would be the least carb sauce.

If I use it, I get it from the same place I get my beef. They have a bunch of organic/no sugar type items. I don't often use it though.

A shoulder and marrow bone in the crock pot tonight. 16-oz steak wrapped in bacon in the fridge. Great football tomorrow night. Can't wait!

I've been challenged to eat 60 eggs in 1 hour. I'm considering it, because I feel I have the biochemistry and preparation expertise to make it possible without much discomfort and actually get some benefit from the nutrition. The quantity isn't an issue, but it's still quite a bit.

    I couldn't do hard boiled.

At least 30-40% would have to be in liquid form. Maybe blended with coffee. I generally shy away from yolks in really hot coffee though because it oxidizes the fatty acids. I do usually throw 5-10 egg whites in my coffee every morning though along with 1-2 tbsp of unsalted butter.

Did the math on that grassfed beef I picked up. Came out to about $3.60/lb. Not too shabby....

    when dieting goes too far.

Don't hate until trying it. It's not a diet though...it's life. It's also a way to get a ton of fat in the diet and with great energy. MCT Oil, egg whites and butter in the coffee. Amazing.

That's a little much for me - i like my coffee black, strong, and bitter.

I am going to start trying hulk shakes. Joe Rogan keeps preaching kale, cucumber, celery, pear, and ginger.

    Nice...

Bone broth and collagen in the crock pot for the next 30 hours. Just started it up. Will be primed and ready for the whole weekend.

The above picture is so true. And sad.

Panera has a avocado chicken cobb salad this is worth a try. No bad carbs there.

I just followed a 90-minute dead lift session with the following.

    2 large sweet potatoes
    1/2 giant butternut squash
    1 cup of raw honey
    1 lb of chicken breast
    3 duck eggs
    6 oz grass fed beef

I'm hurting to even move right now...

90 minutes? How many sets are you doing? Holy cripe. I get in a heavy chest & back workout in under 45 and this usually includes 3-4 heavy sets of deads that usually in the high 400's, low 500's for reps.
  • Azubuike24
    Not heavy. Mostly reps.

    12 sets of 10 (175)
    12 sets of 10 (135)
    12 sets of 10 (95)
Declining sets with 50 lb and 35 lb Kettlebell, basically each to failure

Varying rest times (30-90 secs) between each. Totalled about 90 minutes, which included a little supplemental work with overhead pressing afterward, but only about 10-15 minutes.

More of a metabolic workout, but I'm decently sore today. It's a foam roller Sunday for sure.

I get in and out of the gym in 20 minutes doing squats and bench. Occasionally, I'll swap bench for overhead press.
