Paleo eating

My question was poorly worded in my jumble of words. What I really wanted to know are yolks of pastured chickens darker than normal store bought.

    I have no idea.

Farm raised has more of an orange yolk with a clearer white. Commercial eggs are typically more of a neon yellow yolk with a "muddied" white.

That is what i thought, although I haven't been getting the really orange yolks. From reading online some people were saying the more corn fed the more orange. The whites are definatly more clear though and the yolk is yellow between neon yellow and orange.

You also have a better chance of getting a double yolk from a farm. :D

First experimentation baking blueberry protein cheesecake as a postworkout meal for tomorrow. Won't eat the whole thing but with the no fat cream cheese/sour cream it's definitely not paleo. 1143 calories, 144g's protein, 100g's carbs, 8g's fat of pure goodness. Out of the oven in 50 minutes. #leangains

I intentionally spike my carbs in my first postworkout meal with sweet potatoes, white potatoes and now, protein cheesecake. Other than that, every meal is still paleo. I could probably eat the whole cheesecake for my postworkout meal after a 16 hour fast and still remain under my daily caloric intake goals but I'll just cut a slice to eat while watching tomorrows Browns debacle.

EDIT: Ate 1/2 of this cheesecake for lunch today. It was freakin phenomenal.

16oz fat free cream cheese, 8oz fat free sour cream, 1 cup stevia, 2 eggs, 2 scoops vanilla whey protein, splash of vanilla. Blend all of this with a hand mixer, line a spayed pan with 1 cup blueberries. Cover with cheesecake batter. Throw in oven at 325 for 50-55 minutes. Let cool, refrigerate. I'm trying a pumpkin protein cheesecake tonight.

The fat free isn't Paleo but on training days I'm trying to gain mass which means high protein, high carbs, low fat. I eat regular Paleo on my non-training days and I only eat one non-Paleo meal (postworkout after 16 hour fast) on training days.

Uggh...just polished off a whole pumpkin protein cheesecake. I'm bloated...it was outstanding. Let a dude in the office try a piece and he approved.

No. I stop eating at 8pm and fast until noon the following day. BCAA's ensure my body is "fed" (won't spend muscle) while not actually eating food.

I had been pretty strict on eating recently until tonight. Out in the big city and ate at PF Changs, fried green beans. I guess worth the cheat snack. Rest of the meal was healty. I heard Tony Horton talking about 90/10 as a realistic goal. Which is funny because it sounds like he a 98/2 type of guy.</SPAN></SPAN>

Just finished up another wave of Wendler 5/3/1. Since starting in mid-July my maxes have gone up in all four major lifts...bench press (60 lbs), squat (60 lbs), overhead press (40 lbs) and deadlift (110 lbs). Not bad for an "old" 44 year old man....

Picked up pastured ground lamb tonight. Grill the burgers? any other ideas ?
