devil1197Nothing new on either OSU sites.
There would have been something by now considering its 2 pm and most of the admins/inside people will be on to talk about his presser. -
QuintExcellent. . . I was hoping he wouldn't pull the Terrelle Pryor and back up the announcement! I can't take the anxiety of anticipation! hahahaha
-
devil1197He could back out just haven't heard anything.

j_crazy23 minutes, still no word?

1) No, this class isn't good...period.devil1197 wrote:
1) This class is bad rankings wise because they can't take in 25-28 players like SEC teams or other teams with more scholarships.SportsAndLady wrote: I just don't have a good feeling about this class.
It's already "bad" in terms of rankings, and some people on here are feeling the ole "finish strong" mindset, but Tressel is terrible in january/february in terms of recruiting, so there is no indication he will pick up Henderson, Hicks, etc.
I just think this will be a down year for recruiting, which is fine considering our team next year is loaded, so I don't see any big time recruits committing to OSU from now til signing day, unfortunately.
I say we get Moses and one other guy not named Henderson or Hicks.
2) Tressel isn't known for finishing but he has before and it was the top prospect in the country.
3) Do you not consider Christian Bryant to be a big time recruit? 10th rated CB in the country.
2) Pryor was OSU all the way, he wanted to take in the glamour of it all and hold out.
3) No, I don't. -
j_crazyplease, post it here when he announces.

devil1197I don't think this class isn't good. Its not the greatest OSU class but there are some very good players imo. A lot of big time players see that OSU is loaded with starters and backups at every position next season and most don't want to wait.
-

And that is fine, I'm not bashing Tressel or anything like that, I'm just saying this isn't a good class...and you'd see in my original post about it, that it doesn't bother me considerign how loaded we are next year.devil1197 wrote: A lot of big time players see that OSU is loaded with starters and backups at every position next season and most don't want to wait.
But lets not pretend and tell ourselves it's a good class. -
devil1197And its hard to label a class as good until 2-3 years down the line.
-
j_crazyif we lose bryant, louis and fail to get 1 of either hendo, james, moses. This class = fail even if hicks comes to OSU.
-
devil1197Oh no doubt it will be a fail if we lose all those guys. Tis the ways of recruiting though lol.
-
OneBuckeye^ Not so fast S&L. There are a lot of quality kids in this class and you can't judge and say it isn't a good class for four/five more years.
Signed.
AJ Hawk
Lauranitus
Jenkins
Smith
ect....
Also, there are probably 10 players in high school football that are head and shoulders above everyone else and will succeed as long as they don't get in trouble. The difference between the rest of the five stars and 3 stars is not that big, and how much they succeed in CFB depends more on work ethic and football smarts than god given ability. -

I agree. I expect this class to definitely outperform their rankings when it's all said and done. Roderick Smith, James Louis, Corey Brown, Jamel Turner, and Andrew Norwell look like they will all be big time players. Not to mention 3* guys like Roby, Hankins, Williams, and Hagan who could emerge as steals. And from what I hear from my Chillicothe sources, this Basil kid is one hell of a kicker.devil1197 wrote: I don't think this class isn't good. Getting guys like Bryant, Moses, and Henderson would be huge...but even if they don't go to OSU, I'll still have some high hopes for this class. -
devil1197Christian Bryant 4 Star DB/S out of Glenville selects.............
The Ohio State University -
OneBuckeyeBryant is a Buckeye.
-
j_crazyfucking A.
-
devil1197UNC made a very good push at the end but that Glenville pipeline isn't broken this year.
Hopefully this is the start of a great ending. -
j_crazyagreed. the rest of the guys are planning on announcing on NSD right?
-
OneBuckeyeYeah I think we get Henderson and Moses (if he makes the grades). Also I am feeling good about Hicks, I think we still have a good shot.
