Who's the Heisman favorite now?
-
sjmvsfscs08This is the worst Heisman race I can remember. Johnny Manziel will be ESPN's candidate, we know that much. You all want Miller, that's also obvious.
ESPN's experts (lol...) had these rankings going into yesterday:
1- Colin Klein
2- Johnny Manziel
3- Kenjon Barner
4- Manti Te'o
5- Braxton Miller
6- Marqise Lee
7- Marcus Mariota
8- Giovani Bernard
9- Tajh Boyd
Bolded all lost. Thoughts? -
vball10setlol

Of course ND fans want Te'o to win it...he plays for our team. Makes sense, does it not? Now does he deserve it? I think it's a down year for stars in college football and there may be more deserving players but sure...as an ND fan....I'd like to see Te'o win it. -

never said there was a problem with ND fans wanting him to win it. We all know why this thread was made though.killer_ewok;1323547 wrote:Of course ND fans want Te'o to win it...he plays for our team. killer_ewokFair enough.
-
WebFireOP is right though...this is a year where there are no obvious standouts.
-
vball10setI disagree. IMO, there are many standouts, and that's what's making it difficult to identify a frontrunner.

rydawg5Tahj Boyd should be invited to new york.

sleeperTe'o isn't even the best LB on a undefeated team in the country.

certainly a statement that has some merit.sleeper;1323810 wrote:Te'o isn't even the best LB on a undefeated team in the country. -

I'm a Notre Dame fan and I'm willing to admit I'd probably vote for Braxton Miller over Manti Te'o but that statement is just ridiculous.sleeper;1323810 wrote:Te'o isn't even the best LB on a undefeated team in the country. -

Then why isn't this better LB on an undefeated team being mentioned for the award? Honest question.sleeper;1323810 wrote:Te'o isn't even the best LB on a undefeated team in the country. -

First of all, because he doesn't deserve to be, and secondly, because there is already someone "being mentioned for the award" from said undefeated team.killer_ewok;1324066 wrote:Then why isn't this better LB on an undefeated team being mentioned for the award? Honest question. -

So instead of explaining why you think Shazier is better than Te'o you correct my grammar? -
sjmvsfscs08I was actually looking for some legitimate discussion and wasn't intending to troll. Jesus this place sucks.

killer_ewok
Do you think Te'o deserves to be mentioned and who do you think is the better football player....Te'o or Shazier? Again, just an honest question. You're a reasonable poster on here so I like to hear your take on things.vball10set;1324076 wrote:First of all, because he doesn't deserve to be, and secondly, because there is already someone "being mentioned for the award" from said undefeated team. -
sleeperNeither Shazier nor Te'o should be in the discussion. Shazier is the better player.

wes_mantoothThis is the weakest year I can remember....other than when Troy won it. I mean, he def deserved it, but after him....there was nothing.
