CUSA replaces Tulane and ECU with Middle Tennessee and Fla. Atlantic (from the Sun Belt)

Duh Fuck? Never heard of them. No football.

Navy although disappointed in the recent departures from the conference is staying comitted to the Big East.

i'd be kind of fearful if i was uconn or cincy that the music has stopped on the realignment musical chairs and they are the two left without seats

Kind of falling on the sword. :( As long as the three key non-conference games stay and the TV rev is wherre it needs to be I guess it will have to do.

Aren't the marines a subset of the Navy?

I'm not sure, you'll have to ask Jack Nicholson or Kevin Bacon.

Many, many of the players on Navy's team will be officers in the Marines. The Marines and the Navy are separate entities in the Department Of The Navy. They, the Marines, operate under the command of the Secretary Of The Navy.

You see them on defense quite often. Inside LBs, sometimes the fullback in the triple option is a marine although Alexander Teich last year's fullback applied for and got a SeAL service assignment.

If I was MTN West I would start pillaging the Big East

Not surprising. Dooshers made a dumb decision to bolt to the Big LEast in the first place.

If I were MWC officials, however, I'd tell Boise the can stay as long as they can bitch slap the Boise AD at their next conference meeting.

Will the ACC diminish to nothing? This story acts like the B10, SEC and B12 are going to take all of the remaining ACC schools.

I'll take UVA. I'd prefer UNC but I wouldn't mind Georgia Tech either.
  • LJ
Delaney has insanely strong ties to UNC, I'd say that they would be closer to joining than GT

The same thing they are doing now; getting blown out in games that matter.
