Should ND coach Brian Kelly step down?

Why do I have to know that to want that person fired? Your logic is fail.rock_knutne;714178 wrote:My logic is just fine, again, who should be fired? Who's DIRECTLY in charge of this kid?
I don't know who killed Jon Bennet Ramsey, but I want that person put to justice. -
rock_knutneLJ;714180 wrote:what question? That his direct boss is responsible for him?
So then Kelly is at fault?
Is Kelly the kids direct boss? Is Kelly truely at fault? YOU and no one else will ever know, get it? -

And you want to question someone else's logic when you're comparing a tragic accident to a little girl that was raped and murdered. Who's a fucking moron? -

Yeah and the University of Notre Dame has accepted FULL responsibility. I'm moving on from this, you can accuse and cry about wanting someone fired all you want, karen is right, who the hell are you......LOL!LJ;714187 wrote::rolleyes:

sleeperLJ, you're dealing with the most delusional fan base in all of sports. I agree with you, a $77,000 fine is not justice, its a freakin' joke. Someone needs to lose their job over this, whether it be Kelly, or someone else.
It's sad that Notre Dame fans care more about football than the loss of someone's life, which is ironic because this is the University that preaches Catholicism. ND fans want to know why everyone hates ND? This is exhibit A. -
rock_knutneLJ;714190 wrote:And you are ok with that? lame
Yeah I am OK with it because if there was a reason to fire someone, ND would have done it a very long time ago. -

You don't have to be "somebody" to want justice.
Ouch man, my feelings are hurt. I'm glad you subscribe to the ytown and cbf method of online discussion. -

OSHA thinks someone is responsible for this
The University as an entity did not do those, an individual did. OSHA only fines the entity itself, but there is SOMEONE that is responsible for this.Notre Dame did not establish and maintain conditions of work that were reasonably safe for its employees that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury.”
• Knowingly exposing its employees to unsafe conditions by directing its untrained student videographers to use the scissor lift during a period of time when the National Weather Service issued an active wind advisory with sustained winds and guests in excess of the manufactured specifications and warnings. $55,000 fine.
• Not properly training the student employees in the operation and use of scissor lifts. $5,000 fine.
OSHA > you -

I'm glad you subscribe to calling someone a "nobody" then acting all high and mighty when they fire back. Good call. -

Again, do you not understand that the university has an ongoing investigation? $77,000 is not justice and will be comparable to Tressel's fine (slap on the wrist) when the university and the Sullivan family reach a financial agreement. OSHA is not the final word on this, but they did give the maximum penalty allowed under state law. What else would you like them to do? -
LJrock_knutne;714194 wrote:who the hell are you......LOL!
Who the hell are YOU?! I think that is the question. I am someone concerned that a person is in charge of others that directly caused a person's death. -

Just because it the maximum allowable means we have to think it was enough? -

Saying you can't have a discussion with someone with out calling them a fucking moron isn't being high and mighty. Its pointing out a fact. I WANT JUSTICE! -

I can't? I only call it like I see it. If someone is logical with me, I have no problem and can carry on a logical discussion. Telling someone what they are when they are being one is nothing but reality. Sorry if you cannot handle that.
You are pretty passive aggressive. No better than calling people names. -
karen lotzLJ;714209 wrote:Just because it the maximum allowable means we have to think it was enough?
THERE IS NOTHING ELSE OSHA COULD DO. You keep repeating they found ND negligent but don't find the fact that they fined ND by the maximum amount allowed by Indiana state law enough? What else do you want them to do? -

Its not about being logical with you. Its about whether or not they agree with you. The fact that sleeper and Thread Bomber are the ONLY two people on the site taking your stance should be proof of your so called "logic". -

Once again, why do I have to think that the maximum fine is enough? Do I want more done? Yes. Can more be done? No. Am I ok with that? No.
What is it you don't get? -

Webfire agrees. Others have agreed. Seems as though that You and Rock are the only ones disagreeing and ignoring the actual facts.
1. OSHA found Notre Dame Negligent.
2. Those actions caused the death of an employee
3. The person who was in charge of that employe should be fired for negligence
What is so hard to understand? -

Everyone and their mom knows the Sullivans were going to get paid from this. That isn't justice. Justice would be a very public firing over the person who is responsible for the death of an innocent 20 year old kid. I think that man is Brian Kelly, but it could be someone else.
I doubt the University investigation turns out anything, funny how that works. -

I don't understand who you think you are that you want "justice" when the case has absolutely nothing to do with you. -

So I shouldn't want justice for the rape of an innocent woman because I'm not involved?
Wow, you Domers are DELUSIONAL. -

Getting a little touchy are we? I am a concerned citizen. Why would I NOT want to see justice served? Sense, make some.
