2011 Big East Tournament

CinciX12We're changing announcers for the primetime games right? Right? Because I can't take much more of Burke and whoever this guy is. All they do is tell you what anyone with 1 functioning eye can do just as equally.
-
MulvaPretty sure McDonough, Bilas, and Raftery do the night games.

Yes. -
CinciX12Thank the lord.
SJU has pretty much set the standard for 'home' dominance and not being able to tie their shoes on the road. -

wins at WVU, Nova, Cincy, and Marquette. they are much better at home obviously but who isn't? -
killer_ewokFab Melo played a damn good game today. If he continues to emerge.....I really like Syracuse's chances of making a run in the NCAA's. Triche playing great as well. Good energy defensively. Tomorrow night should be fun.

burt07Syracuse has impressed me as much as any team in the country the last few weeks. I picked them to win this tourney and even with the Kemba magic I still think they will as they're hitting on all cylinders. Are probably up to a 3 seed now with a good chance at a 2.
-
ptown_trojans_1KState getting a nice no call on a steal and makes it a 1 point game.
73-72 with 1:26 left.
75-72 after 2 FTs by Colorado. -

Gotta cut down on the turnovers though. Too many today. -
davelooking forward to another 6 OT game tomorrow!

I'll settle for an Orange win in regulation.
Also, I saw Pearl Washington, DC, Howard Triche and Allen Griffin in the crowd. Good to see those guys come out and show support. -
CinciX12I'm praying for an absolute trainwreck tonight for UC. I hope they go for 15 of 40 minutes without scoring.
Notre Dame will wipe the floor with them. UC is far too confident from beating a Georgetown team without Chris Wright. -

The coaches voted unanimously to get rid of that, and then they proceeded to leave it as is because of TV contracts.
Boeheim had the best idea... 4 rounds/no byes, but to "reward" the top 4, let them play the first day, play the other 4 first round games on day 2. On day 3, play all 4 quarterfinals, so there is a rest day for the top 4 teams so long as they don't fuck it up against the 13-16 seeds. -

TCU screws up the whole thing. Now there will be 17 teams. Maybe there will be a 16-17 play in game? -
ts1227Leave the 17th team at home, perhaps? They'd probably lose money on a 16/17 play-in for a conference tourney.

I like that idea. TCU will be another DePaul. Large market, bad team.ts1227;706838 wrote:Leave the 17th team at home, perhaps? They'd probably lose money on a 16/17 play-in for a conference tourney. -

CinciX12This is why you are not ranked you loser ass yellow toothed gnome.
73-48 with 8 minutes left of this entertainment? I love it. -
CinciX12Notre Dame has brought out the walk ons. I repeat, the walk-ons from Notre Dame have entered the ball game. And extended the lead.
-
rock_knutneImpressive game by ND.

Stay Classy X.
66-46 -
CinciX12Mick does have yellow teeth and he is short. It might be offensive but it is slightly true.
ND just got done with the 2nd largest margin of victory in the history of the Big East Tournament. Boy oh boy UC really has proven time and time again they belong in that conference. -
CinciX12Oh, and the walk on scored. Just to add insult to injury.
-
daveProps to ND, that was impressive. UC doesn't have the firepower to play a high scoring game like that.

Aren't you a Xavier fan, lmao. Just worry about your team losing pretty much every game they play to OOC tourney teams.
