2011 Big East Tournament

september63Why is a delay of game T called on the Louisville cheerleader and not the St. Johns player?
The Big east commissioner said no T was called because the Johnnies player thought the game was over?
The Louisville cheerleader thought that game was over too. -

I would assume because it wasn't a player. Have you seen the quote from the head of officials? Why is a delay of game T called on the Louisville cheerleader and not the St. Johns player? -

I saw that too. My guess is they were told to step away or they would be forced to step away. The Big East officiating crew from St. Johns game yesterday has "voluntarily" withdrawn themselves from the rest of the BE tourney!! -

september63If this UConn-Pitt game comes down to FT's Pitt is going to lose. Decided advantage in FT % goes to UConn here.

ESPN cameras just found Burr in the crowd. Has to be a little uncomfortable for him to be there watching. -
september63This isnt the UConn team that lost 7-11 to close the regular season.

Someone talked about it yesterday, he threw the ball away while the clock was still running. That's no different than throwing an errant pass into the backcourt with the clock running. In the case of the Louisville cheerleader, it was a dead ball after the basket and the cheerleader throwing the ball in there prevented Pittsburgh from inbounding the ball immediately if they wished to. They're completely different situations, and it sounds like the commissioner got it wrong too. -
september63Anyone see similarities between Calhoun and Izzo come tourney time? You think Izzo can get 2 or 3 wins in the Big 10 tourney?

Honestly, no. Not enough post talent and I don't think they can get past Iowa, Purdue and Wisconsin with their guard play alone. -
TBone14UConn and Pitt- what a game so far. 69 at the under 4 timeout. Walker and Gibbs have been incredible. Wanamaker and Lamb have been great.
