-
bo shemmy3337Awesome pick up for Michigan today. Keep them coming mr Hoke.
-
imex99Kalis committed per bucknuts...
-
Midstate01Hope kalis made the right choice. Good luck to him.
-
Trueblue232/3 silents have dropped.. now for Chris Wormley..
-
WebFireNice!
-
OneBuckeyeUM is taking full advantage of OSU situation and 2012 is loaded with great players. Wormley is only a matter of time.
-
Writerbuckeye"I can't go there (Ohio State) and take penalties for something I never did," Kalis told ESPN.com on Monday.
So he's going to UM where they are already on probation -- for something he never did.
Bright kid. -
Midstate01I wish the kid luck. But his comments say to me he can't handle pressure.

Exactly what pressure is that? -

Yea self imposed probation that the NCAA felt sufficed. As opposed to the uncertainty of a possible bowl ban and Conference Championship games.
Michigan is down right now, but there isn't anything besides what goes on the field from going to Indy or to a bowl game.
Would you rather accept a job offer from a company that could possibly go bankrupt or one that's reshaping/rebuilding itself? -
rmolin73WebFire it's just more Buckeye BS for we're pissed we lost a commit. So lets discredit the kid.
-
ironman02I would completely understand if Kalis decided to go elsewhere if OSU gets major sanctions, but it doesn't make sense to decommit now and then commit to Michigan before the NCAA hands down its punishment. I think Kalis is listening too much to the UM staff and other recruits, rather than being patient, and making a completely informed decision.
I just can't understand committing to your "dream school", and then dumping them for their biggest rival before you know the NCAA's decision. Makes me think he was never fully committed to being a Buckeye in the first place. -
Midstate01No I wish him luck. But his comments clearly say he didn't want the pressure of being at Osu during this. He wanted no part of dealing with adversity.
But again, if he made the right decision for him, good for him. Good luck. -

Or he didn't wanna be punished by possibly NOT going to a bowl game because of actions that were not his own. Probation is a joke.. Michigan and OSU won't change a bit because of probation. Kallis made a smart decision. -

He doesn't like adversity so he chose UM? You are off your rocker now dude. -

He won't even be playing for another year, so EVEN IF Ohio State gets a bowl ban, it won't affect him. Neither would a scholarship reduction.
His remarks weren't very well thought out. I'm sure he was simply parroting what Hoke or some other scUM coaches told him during recruiting. It sure sounded like it. -

I'm sure Tress being gone had A LOT to do with it.Writerbuckeye;827820 wrote:He won't even be playing for another year, so EVEN IF Ohio State gets a bowl ban, it won't affect him. Neither would a scholarship reduction.

stroupsMeh.. you guys can have Kalis. We still got Norwell (who i think is very similar) and the O-line class is looking very good next year. Give me guys that wan't to be here like Curtis Grant who said this
That said, best of luck to him. I will hate him no less or no more than anybody else who plays on that team."I talk to Doran all the time, and to Braxton, and our attitude is, 'Let's go in and do it, man. Let's be a big three and go in there and help make it happen,'" Curtis Grant (no relation to Doran) said before arriving on campus this weekend. "I told Braxton he's got to lead that offense, and that I am going to do my best to come in and try to get a starting spot, and try to lead the defense the best way I can." -
bo shemmy3337People switch all the time and because he went from OSU to Michigan and was such a highly rated prospect, people are going to ask him questions. Now he is 17 and is not a superstar so let the comments go.

skankYou Buckeye haters can slam me all you want, but the way I see it is if ANY kid is born and bred a Buckeye, and for whatever reason chooses Michigan, he wasn't a true Buckeye at all.
See ya 4 or 5 times Kyle, Do the names Henne, Hart & long ring a bell? 0 for 4. That's your future Kylee -

Placing bets? OSU will not win the 4 in a row starting in 2012. -

Long, as in that o-lineman that was the #1 pick in the draft and has made $60mil already?skank;828345 wrote:You Buckeye haters can slam me all you want, but the way I see it is if ANY kid is born and bred a Buckeye, and for whatever reason chooses Michigan, he wasn't a true Buckeye at all.

You are probably too young to remember Michigan historically has recruited Cleveland quite well. These guys are smart enough to not let just the last 5 years in a rivalry determine what university they attend. -
WriterbuckeyeFive years?
You're underestimating things by about half.
