The hard line slogan is gone from the tunnel. Repainted with something more familiar...

I was up there for the spring game, nothing was there where it says "The Team" before right?

This is pleasantly shocking. He always looked fat whereas some other big DT in the country (See the SEC) at least looked in shape but still big.

I had high hopes for this kid when we signed, thinking he could be another Gabe Watson or other good DT we've had in the past. Let's hope he finally breaks out this year!

So far he has dropped 18 lbs. Coach Hoke said he just hopes he doesn't eat it all back in the next 8-10 days.

Here is what Dunn's dad had to say about the BBQ at the Big House.
He said it made him more comfortable and that he's liking [Michigan] more and more. Kyle Kalis and him talk to each other, too [Kalis was also at the BBQ]. The [Michigan] coaches told him that there's playing time there and that he could be the man.

Sounds like the Gameday crew is leaning towards being in Ann Arbor for the ND/Mich night game.

Damn, I don't know if I could make myself spend that much. Where did you get them from?

That's what I figured just because of the historic moment.

I'll watch it on the big screen. No way would I pay that to see any game.

Prices will come way down once everyone has their tickets mailed to them. There are only about 1000 tix on stubhub now. There will be over 5k in a couple weeks.

Normally I'd agree.. but this is Notre Dame.. and the first night game in Michigan history. I can't pass that up.

Just got word that Tommy Schutt will no longer be visiting Michigan. The staff asked him not to. Things could be developing in AA.
WTF is going on with Schutt? Something has to be going on with him that both ND and Michigan would cool on him so quickly within a day of each other.

Must mean Michigan is getting the commits they want.

as evidenced by their #2 ranking ;)

    Indeed. :)

So far there is no word of any solid commits to make Michigan turn down Schutt. But I believe the staff knows they have a good chance of landing Pipkins and O'Brien, and given that Schutt had no interest in Michigan until ND turned them down, they said no thanks. You have to be in a good spot to turn down a top 30 player.

Darryl Stonum will not be playing this year. He was redshirted by Hoke.

Also, punter Will Hagerup has been suspended for 4 games, and WR Terrance Robinson for 1 game, for violation of team rules.
  • dave
Stonum will be a big loss at some point in the season with the lack of depth. Glad to see Hoke do the right thing though and make the kid get his life together.

Hagerup was pretty good, wouldn't be surprised if he never sees the field again though. I wouldn't mind seeing him leave and free up a scholarship. One of the worst things that RR did was give out several schollies to kickers.
  • bo shemmy3337
As far as I am concerned anyone who kicked a ball last season should be suspended lol Will is a good punter though and will be missed for those games.
  • dave
Ondre Pipkins committed. Almost the last puzzle piece now landing a top DT.
