EDIT: Thomas is the other player suspended the first 5 games next year.
Gift from God that they were not suspended for the bowl game, considering what Troy got after the Michigan game.

But, yeah, just go pro now guys.
    Next years first five games:
    Akron
    Toledo
    Miami
    Colorado
    Michigan St.

Without those players, I can see a maybe loss to Miami and Michigan St.
The first game back for those guys would be at Nebraska.

Why the fuck didn't Shugarts go along? At least something good could have come from this.
  • WebFire
Wonder why not suspended for the bowl game? That would be worse punishment.

Oddly enough, had more to do with things other than tattoos:

As part of their reinstatement, Adams must repay $1,000 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring and Herron must repay $1,150 for selling his football jersey, pants and shoes for $1,000 and receiving discounted services worth $150.

Posey must repay $1,250 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring for $1,200 and receiving discounted services worth $50, while Pryor must repay $2,500 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring, a 2009 Fiesta Bowl sportsmanship award and his 2008 Gold Pants, a gift from the university.

Solomon must repay $1,505 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring for $1,000, his 2008 Gold Pants for $350 and receiving discounted services worth $155.

ESPN just broke live, news conference coming up.

What a bunch of knuckleheads, is it THAT difficult to not screw up for something so minor in return?

    The thing about this is...

It took the NCAA less than 24 hours to declare Cam eligible after Auburn said he was ineligible, that for $200 grand. I guarantee this reinstatement process takes FOREVER for some memorabilia.

The walking hypocrisy known as the NCAA....

Oy. Thank god for Braxton Miller

Even bigger question, who the eff is buying them? These guys have to be dealing with some shady characters.

I don't care about the Sugar Bowl or the first 5 games next year, these guys need to just go. This isn't Auburn.
