    The team is currently in high spirits after having several players make key contributions. Yet, the attitude is business at hand, as they realize there is a tough assignment on Friday.

    Game coverage by the Daily Record didn't include shooting stats or fouls, does anyone know those? Also mentioned the Norwayne kid that fouled out, but didn't mention Wasson sitting out most of the game in foul trouble or didn't the writer consider his being on the bench 2/3 of the game as a factor or a big part of the game story?

    I agree that a win is a win but.....Norwayne is a .500 team at this point and stands middle of the pack in the WCAL! Lets not get too happy yet. Lexington comes to town Friday...ouch!

    Maybe we should put the Cavs on our schedule, they are averaging about as many points a game as us.

    True Norwayne is 5-5, but 2 very close losses were to Hillsdale by 2 and undefeated ( until tonight's Timken game ) Manchester by 4 points. Lexington is 7-3 with their 4 league wins to the bottom 4 OCC teams they haven't played Clear Fork or Senior so they haven't been tested yet. We definitely need a good TEAM effort and Zack for 4 quarters, but with 10 guys scoring Tuesday just maybe we have something building and the 3 jv's that dressed Tuesday could help down the road.

    Alex Smith scored some big points in the last JV game with at least three 3's in about 4 or maybe 5 attempts. He's showing the stroke needed when unguarded due to collapsed defenses.

    I see that ridernation is being the new funny man! Har dee har har. I hope your 10th post is better.

    Good night to be a Red Rider fan. 56-39 Wasson 25, Pirman 11, as 8 guys scored. FREE throws again poor, 14 of 29, 9 of 19 in the 4th quarter, they have to get that up to 60 to 70 per cent. Anyone know the turnovers?

    Was anyone at the game last night? I'd like to hear more about the Lexington coach taking down one of the Rider players? What happened?

    It was ugly by the Lexington coach. Two Lexington players were into it with Winters when the Lexington Ex-NBA coach grabbed Winters and body slammed him to the floor.Why he didn't try to corral his own players is beyond most of us sitting in the stands.

    Lex player fouled Winters then continued holding on. Winters tried to get him off him by pushing. It looked like another Lex player said something to Devon and Devon went after him taking down Lex players, their coach and a ref.

    According to the Daily Record...Orrville had 20 turnovers...Lex had 12

    As far as the little skurmish at the end...I think Coach Feick was just trying to stop anything from happening and Winters just happened to be the player he grabbed. He did not slam him to the court, he fell over another Lex player on the floor and lost balance. I think he did the right thing, but I think grabbing his own player would have made more sense.

    I personally said something to coach Feick as I left the gym and I quote myself..."Next time grab your own player Coach." and his response to me was and I quote.."Shut up, Bitch!"

    Now that was classy Coach Feick!

    Yes, Devin did indeed fall. The coach didn't slam him to the ground.

    lex coach was a punk thug at mich. state(think it was mich. st.) and in nba.....he has'nt changed. He also said something to devon after the skirmish as devon was walking to foul line.....big man coach!!! Bully some more high school kids!! Coach haley said something to the coach....would have loved to hear that!!!!

    No body slam by anyone, just the group falling over each other. Did see Feick saying something to Devon, but only he would know what it was. I would love to see the replay. I did enjoy Feick's high school career highlight of beating triway in the semis at state in 1991, that's one positive for him :)

    Just to add to the skirmish at the end of the game, I talked to one of the players after the game that was involved in it (not Devon) he said that Lex coach was using some very derogatory words towards the Orrville guys. I guess that is what happens with you get your a** kicked. Anyway good win for the Riders, I think coach Sly has guys playing at a high level and is getting his substitution pattern down. Still room to grow, but I am seeing us making good strides, hopefully just as tournament time comes.

    ...it was a "B" with an "itch" in case anyone wanted to know. The mods did some correcting of my language.

    Great win Riders! I am sure we can expect some sort of hose job by the refs and physical play when we travel to Lex. But we beat them in football this year and we can play a little football on the hardwood as well!
