If Ubaldo hits .200 thats pretty damn good.

Ubaldo starts, Indians win, ~5.3 runs per game
Ubaldo starts, Indians lose, ~3.2 runs per game

His run support isn't that great wedge.

You have made several idiotic claims that have been refuted with evidence as to why you are completely wrong. You have chosen to ignore those posts, or childishly laughed at people and threatening to "light them up" if it wasn't for new rules. You have provided ABSOLUTELY no proof why ANY reliever (plays in maybe ~60 games), let alone Chris Perez, is worth ANY 1B (plays in maybe ~150 games), let alone Mark Teixeira. You can laugh off sabermetrics all you want, but the stats have been developed with logic and reasoning, and every team has embraced them.....Billy Beane just started the trend. Your "LOLOL your opinion is so stupid I'm laughing at it look at me go LOLOLOL" schtick just reeks of having no clue how to discuss anything, let alone sports, like an adult.
Mooney...I attract a lot of attention from people that don't like my vast array of intellectual prowess. I just can't help the fact that I do in fact know everything!!

Like I said...you had a bad day here on the chatter. You made a drunk post. It happens sometimes.

It even happened to me one time about 4 or 5 years ago.

Don't be mad bro. I'm just happy you don't run the tribe organization. We cannot afford another Ubaldo trade.

Wait, you are wrong. Your entire thread was awful. You don't know everything. In fact, as Mooney said, you have been proven wrong many times on this very thread and just try to sidestep and divert. Your "intellectual prowess" is about as impressive as Texeria's .232 batting average.

Hey, I can't support my point for shit, so let me just post some random anecdotes and jibberish.

Your typos and grammatical errors prove that theory.

Lemme guess Moonie...you're 23..maybe 24 years old? Anyone that changes a quote like that is a loser...in real life. Debate an issue...don't defaultb to the tactics of other ass clowns here.

As for Hoops' cousin and his stats. Ubaldo still owns the highest WHIP of any pitcher on the team...and ranks third from the bottom in ERA.

But...but...but.....he's won 4 games! Only on the chatter...great fun......great entertainment. I really should have to pay for this.

Ummmm...a little tongue in cheek action there Hoops...flew right over your head. Kinda like an Ubaldo fastball to a number 9 hitter.

You used BA as a basis for determining that Tex was washed up. I'd say wins are a more important stat than BA, no?

The fact that you honestly think this trade could happen and that the Tribe should deny it if it did is hilarious and very telling of your actual mental state.

It's also funny that you pull out stats to try and support your claims, but when people do the same and completely destroy any sentiment you actually have, you just "LOL FAKE STATS< LOL$%%"

    SMH.

Fake stats? What fake stats? And if you have a problem with nixing Perez for Tex trade, then call up Chuck tomorrow and let let him know.

We can't afford another Ubaldo debacle. Just can't. And for the record, there's nothing at all wrong with my "grammar". My typing stinks...but that's because I can't see the keyboard at night. I always make the corrections after I reread my posts.. Sorry it troubles you so.

The fake stats, he is referring to you ignoring the significance of sabermetrics. No need to call to "nix" the trade because the trade would never fucking happen.

I am now dumber for having read Footwedge's arguments on this thread. Logic really does elude some people!

I dont think Id trade Tex for Mo, the best closer fo all time. I certianly dont even entertain the thought of trading him for Perez, a top half closer of 2011 and now 2012. But if this was real, and the Tribe turned it down, I would burn down the Prog.

I agree with this. An everyday player of his caliber is worth so much more than a closer...even if it was a top end closer.

To me...that's a spin. The Ubaldo deal sucks. White and Pom haven't reached their potential, and when they do, Jimenez will be long gone from the Tribe. He has not been the pitcher that we thopught we were getting when we made the deal. If the Tribe can win the division and go to the Series at least in part because of Ubaldo (and not in spite of)..it'll be worth it though.
