I mean, I'm making that statement based off of the fact that you said you are attracted to people of a different race. If you weren't not an issue, obviously.

I don't agree with the way my grandparents feel. I have had 3 close couple-friends marry who were of different color. Grandparents would always say they disagree with that. I would always say "why," but that is their own opinion, and I respect and love my grandparents. If my grandparents had passed away, and I met and fell in love with someone one, then OK, I'd consider it.

Since they are alive (however I'm already married) I have never even considered seeking someone b/c it's not worth it to me.

The point I was trying to make with the White History Month is this.

To me it is all American History. As a History Teacher, I feel that all of the different aspects of History need to be looked at in a more balanced manner. We shouldn't have to have a Black History Month or a Women's History Month.

Since, we have had a heated discussion on Interracial dating. I am I guess what you would call bi-racial. I too never had an issue with it. My kids one day will be interracial.

As others have said, it is impossible having anti-interracial feelings with an interracial family, unless you're views are not known. If any of my family members had a problem with interracial dating; I wouldn't consider them part of my family. "I don't agree on how you got into my family, but I love you anyway." Doesn't Cut It.

bigkahuna that should be the case but if you take any history class in school it deals with predominately white or european history. Don't you think that kids of different races should be aware of what their ancestors contributed to this great country of ours?

2. believes in racial purity
3. doesnt believe a child should be adopted by parents of a different race bc he feels the child will be confused(yeah being raised in an orphanage is much better)
