  I was going to call you out on the fact you never did this because you would have gotten your ass kicked, but based on "embarresed" and "athiest" in your post, I'm just going to call out the fact that there's no way you went to college at all.

There is a Miss BLACK America pageant, but if there was a Miss White America people would scream racism. Racism, to some degree will always exist. Probably a case of "I'm better than you". I could care less about the color of someones skin. I care about their actions.

  Most mainstream channels attempt to market shows to the most people possible, which means that targeting white people is most affective, because white people are the majority, they watch the most television, and buy the most stuff from advertisers. Nothing wrong with that, but it does mean that there's an under-targeted market(minorities) that other channels try and reach. For instance, BET, and recently TBS with Tyler Perry and George Lopez.

  For example, when I went to Montana, my roommate was on the football team. It was a summer's eve, and we were outside barbecuing and listening to loud music. It was a group of predominately black dudes, but we were just hanging out and doing the damn thing like college kids do.
  
  All of a sudden, an SUV rolls up, and rolls down the windows. These middle aged women--and that's exactly what they were, middle aged white women, start screaming "FUCK YOU NIGGERS!!! GO BACK TO AFRICA!!! YOURE NOT WELCOME!!!!!! FUCK YOU NIGGERS!!!!!" and then they peeled off flipping the bird.

  This is they way I look at it. Im certified 7-12. Right now I with students in grades 10-12. By the time they get to me, they should have a good idea of what the White Part of History is from the past 9 Years of Schooling. By the time they are 15/16, they should be ready to explore the "OTHER" parts of History. I personally think that the Upper High School Years should be spent looking at the more controversial/over looked aspects of History. I.E. Black American History/Culture, The Equal Rights Movement, Women's History, Asian History (1800s "Slave Labor", Japanese Concentration Camps.) I could go on and on. It's ignorant to teach a kid every year that we won the Revolutionary War, that the North beat the South.....Maybe I'm thinking too much

  I suggest you read "Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong" by James Loewen. It is an interesting read and based on your post, may cover a lot of the things you are thinking about. The premise of the book is that many students find history boring. The reason is schools are not teaching all aspects of history.
  
  I will not ruin it for you, but I found that the author said some things I agree with and many others I do not. However, I recommend it to anyone interested in history, not just educators.

  Well I love watching 1. The Cosby show, 2. The Cleveland Show, 3. Family Matters, 4. Sanford & Son, 5. Smart Guy, etc.. Am I not supposed to watch these since they probably don't heavily target a White-middle class audience?

  Hate to break it to ya Sage, but there has been racism against whites. Have you ever heard of the Holocaust? Racism is not a term exclusively limited to African Americans. Hate has reared it's ugly head against more than just African Americans. Do you think they are treated worse than the Jews (who were white)? We all know that many African Americans died as a result of hate, but many whites have also died! It's unreal to me that you would mention hatred in one form and not acknowledge all other forms of hate! It shouldn't be tolerated in any form against any human being; color is not the relevant determining factor of hate!
  
  It may also be of interest to you to know that the Europeans were not nearly as selective with their slaves as most believe. Scottish Highlanders were also brought to the new land as slaves. They were white! Open your eyes! Are you ok with the hate against homosexuals? It seems that we have excluded too many. Is it ok to hate one, but not the other? Until we see each other as all part of the human race and do not notice color of skin, religion, sexual orientation, etc. we will never be free!
