Yeah that's what I'm trying to tell her. She thinks Oakland is so bad that Gates is the better play. I said ok, just watch.
  • SportsAndLady
I mean I can see her thinking. It's not necessarily wrong to start gates but I just wouldn't ever bench graham.
  • Terry_Tate
I'm in 4 leagues and just realized I play Peyton Manning in 2 of them and Andrew Luck in 2 of them this week. FML.

And S&L already covered them but DeSean Jackson and Jimmy Graham are who I would go with. Oakland is terrible but Graham is a no doubter.
  • Crimson streak
Bell (det) McKinnon West Williams (Miami) pick 2
  • Iliketurtles
My QB situation has gotten so bad that I'm deciding between RG3 and McCown this week(Probably going to start RG3)...

I agree with Terry and S&L you go Jackson and Graham no questions.

Crimson I'd go with Bell and McKinnon.
  • SportsAndLady
Bell and McKinnon. I would say west because I think he will be the lead back but you never know with those Cleveland QBs

Trade has been offered to me. J. McKinnon, Gronk, D. Bowe for E. Sanders, A. Bradshaw, J. Cook, B. Cooks.

    This is currently my lineup:

    QB M. Sanchez
    WR E. Sanders
    WR R. Cobb
    RB M. Forte
    RB A. Bradshaw
    TE T. Kelce
    W/R/T O. Beckham, Jr.

    BN J. Cook
    BN B. Cooks
    BN Michael Floyd
    BN Malcolm Floyd
BN A. Peterson (in case they actually use him once he's reinstated
BN J. Gordon (looking forward to him being back)
    BN K. Orton

If I make the trade, it looks like this (for this week, at least):

    QB M. Sanchez
    WR O. Beckham, Jr.
    WR R. Cobb
    RB M. Forte
    RB J. McKinnon
    TE R. Gronkowski
W/R/T T. Kelce or Mi. Floyd

    BN T. Kelce
    BN D. Bowe
    BN Michael Floyd
    BN Malcolm Floyd
BN A. Peterson (in case they actually use him once he's reinstated
BN J. Gordon (looking forward to him being back)
    BN K. Orton

Starting next week, I'll be able to swap Beckham down to the flex spot and start Gordon. If Peterson goes back to the Vikings starting lineup, I have him. Otherwise, I have McKinnon. This is a full PPR league. Obviously upgrades me at TE. Downgrades me at WR. Maybe a narrow downgrade at RB.

What do you guys think? I have a plethora of WRs. Too many to just sit them on my bench. Figured I'd upgrade to a stud TE. Is this trade worth the cost?

Where do you stand in the playoff race right now? Once you narrow it down it essentially is McKinnon, Gronk, and Gordon for Sanders and Bradshaw since you're getting Josh Gordon back. I'd do that trade even though Sanders has been a stud and Bradshaw has been good. Gronk is just such an advantage in fantasy football, it's hard to pass up.

I'm #1 and 9-1. Next place guy (who this trade is with) is 6-4.

All the guys he's getting will start for him Cook will be his TE. Sanders will obviously start. Bradshaw will be a RB, and Cooks will be his flex.

My fear is that I'm giving him enough tools to make a game of it in the playoffs. He's my biggest threat and the only one whose points on the season are close to mine. I'd hate to trade myself into a 2nd-place finish in the league.

I just figured that I had too many startable WRs sitting on the bench. With Beckham, Cooks, and Gordon ... it's tough to sit them.
  • Iliketurtles
I wouldn't do it just for the simple fact if everyone elses teams are terrible why make them a lot better when it only slightly helps your team.

Also who would you guys rather start between RG3 and Josh McCown... also to put in a more important way which one do you think will throw for the most yards lol.
  • SportsAndLady
You're 9-1 and #1...why trade half your team?

Well that changes things, lol. Knowing it is the second place team I wouldn't do it because you are giving up more than you get and you'd be helping them, so I'm now with ILT and S&L, I'd say no. If it was somebody who was out of the playoff picture and you didn't play them over the next 3 weeks then I'd do it.

ILT, I'd probably go with RG3, but that is a toss up. I could see DeSean Jackson getting at least one bomb though on Tampa Bay's secondary.

Always Jimmy Graham. For the simple fact that if Gates has a better day you won't hate yourself. If Graham has the better day, you will be pissed for being an idiot.

Really, it comes down to which group you'd rather have, as the rest of my starting lineup will be the same:

Option A: Sanders, Bradshaw, and Kelce
    Option B: Gronkowski, Beckham, McKinnon

I tried to rank those players based on value, not based on position.

So comparing Gronk to Sanders, Bradshaw to Beckham, and Kelce to McKinnon, that was why I was looking at it.

I rejected the trade, though, given the fact that it's with the second-place guy.

Looks like I'm out of the playoffs. Would you trade Demaryious Thomas who you control for 2 years for Adrian Peterson you would control for 2 years and Jordan Mathews controlled for 3?
  • Lovejoy1984
    NO

No real guarantee AD comes back to form. DT is still surprisingly young, and is better than Mathews

I'm not against moving DT, but not for that return.

Should move to 11-0 assuming gronk doesn't score a ton of second half points.

My team is awesome and I'll be 3-8 after this week.
  • GOONx19
Moving to 6-5 in 4th place. 1st in scoring by 70 but no prize for that in my league.
  • jmog
I just need to win the last 2 weeks of the regular season as I have tie breakers on everyone pretty much (total points is tie breaker).

    I am 2nd in points...and sitting at 4-7...

I have had the most points scored against me by far.

Average in our league is about 145. Teams are averaging 165 against me...20 more points than average. I have had nearly 100 more points scored against me than everyone else in the league.

I still have a chance tonight to win this week (Need 22 points or win defense) but even I lose all I will need to do is win my last 2 games and I will make the playoffs.

You need 22 points from what?
