Fantasy Football 2014-15

Terry_TateGood luck S&L. Best part is most of those guys are past their bye weeks as well. Just DeSean and Brown left.
I actually went undefeated my very first year playing fantasy football (2007). LT, AP during his rookie year, and Tom Brady passing for 50 TDs. Destroyed guys that year, though I'm sure it helped that it was the first year of that league and we had never done fantasy football before. -
Laley23I'm awful this season. Thought I had great drafts, but they ended up poor. Made bad trades and picked up guys but didn't give them time to get into their seasons as i panicked with bad starts (Dwayne Allen being the worst, since my TEs score about 1 pt a week.).

I definitely feel you about this. I still think my draft was great... just I didn't give my guys a chance and dropped them after the first 4 weeks (Mostly Brady and Cleveland and Buffalo's Def).Laley23;1670570 wrote:I'm awful this season. Sucks last night I almost got the miracle I needed from Eli... if only Williams could have gotten into the endzone on that pass in the 3rd quarter. -
SportsAndLadyMy roommate was up like 19 points going into the fourth quarter playing against Eli. He lost by 2 lol sucks for him
-
justincredibleI've got waiver claims in in both leagues for Martavis Bryant. He won't be slowing down against the Jets secondary. Sucks I face Antonio Brown in one league. I'd almost guarantee 100+ yards and a TD out of him.
-
SportsAndLadyWith desean on bye, I'm gonna have to play Bryant and Brown. Thankfully they are playing the jets

TBone14Start/sit question. What say the masses.
For my flex:
Rueben Randle vs the Seahawks.
Mike Evans vs the Falcons-with Josh McCown now at QB. -
SportsAndLadyEvans for sure
-
jmogTrade question...
Our league has weird rules so I will list each players average weekly scoring with their name...also, nearly all RB/WR/TE starting positions are complete flex (must start total of 5 between RB/WR/TE, max of 2 RB, max of 2 TE is the only restrictions).
My current starting lineup:
QB-M. Ryan
RB-D. Murray
RB-A. Ellington
WR-AJ Green
TE-L. Donnell
TE-T. Kelce
K-D. Bailey
D-Eagles
I trade away:
A. Ellington-20.5 ppg
L. Donnell-17.4 ppg
Patriots D-19.7 ppg
I get:
R. Cobb-21.9 ppg
Dwayne Allen-23.1 ppg
Broncos D-11.8 ppg
I get a slight upgrade between Ellington/Cobb in our scoring and a large upgrade between Donnell and Allen. I am then just taking a huge drop in my backup defense. It almost seems like a no brainer?
My new starting lineup would be...
QB-M. Ryan
RB-D. Murray
WR-AJ Green
WR-R. Cobb
TE-D. Allen
TE-T. Kelce
K-D. Bailey
D-Eagles
Bench
Cutler
Vick
Oliver
K. Allen
D. Hopkins
K. Wright
C. Clay
M. Bryant
Broncos
We do not have to start any set lineup again, nearly all flex except 1 QB, 1 K, 1 D, and 1 WR (other 4 positions all flex between RB/WR/TE). -
Dr. KnOiTaLLSo I have now moved to 2-7 thanks to this play...
It's getting a bit ridiculous the horrendous luck I've had this season. We have 4 regular season games left, and I need to win every one in order to sneak into the playoffs (8 teams). I'm contemplating trading LeVeon Bell and Harvin for DeMarco Murray. I face the top team in the league in week 12, and while he will have Antonio Brown on bye, I will also have Bell on bye unless I make a move. Week 11, I play a middle-of-the-pack team who has some bye week issues, so I feel like I could manage to win that one. Here is my roster:
QB: Ryan (Newton-backup)
WR: Cobb, Marshall, Harvin (VJackson-backup)
RB: McCoy, Bell (Peterson-backup)
TE: JThomas
K: Tucker
DEF: Detroit (Minn, Chicago-backups) -
GOONx19Doug Baldwin vs Giants (possible groin)
Reuben Randle vs Seahawks
T Williams vs Jags (Weeden)
Pick one. -

Team looked great on draft day. Marshall, Harvin and McCoy have been very disappointing this season. If it is a keeper league...start looking for solid keepers for next season via trade. The odds of a 2-7 team running the table and making the playoffs at 6-7 is pretty slim.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1671175 wrote:So I have now moved to 2-7 thanks to this play...

TBone14Another potential start/sit.
Romo- If he plays. I'm worried about them getting up on Jville and just going straight ground and pound to keep Romo from taking extra hits.
Or
Sanchez- Mark freaking Sanchez. -

Don't overthink it man lol romoTBone14;1671323 wrote:Another potential start/sit.

O-TrapI had Foles in one of my leagues. The wire was pretty lean for QBs, so here are my front-runners:
Dirty Kyle Orton
Derek Carr
Standard scoring for QBs. Which would you guys start? -
justincredibleI was able to grab Martavis Bryant in both leagues and Ronnie Hilman in one. Nice week for waiver wire pickups. I also picked up Carson Palmer in one league since Brady and Rivers are both on a bye this week.

Ronnie Hillman was on the waiver wire for this week? Is the league you and 11 women? That is utterly absurd.justincredible;1671345 wrote:I was able to grab Martavis Bryant in both leagues and Ronnie Hilman in one. Nice week for waiver wire pickups. I thought so as well. It's only an 8 team league so there are still some decent pickups to be had.TBone14;1671363 wrote:Ronnie Hillman was on the waiver wire for this week? Is the league you and 11 women? That is utterly absurd. -
GOONx19I had Luck and Cameron, with Foles on my bench. Picked up Fleener last week, but Colts have a bye so I was able to get Palmer and unfortunately only Owen Daniels.

I'd go Sanchez. Why risk it with Romo plus it's not like the Cowboys are passing it a shit ton.TBone14;1671323 wrote:Another potential start/sit.

I'd go Orton he has been really decent this year and always helps when he is throwing to a guy like WatkinsO-Trap;1671330 wrote:I had Foles in one of my leagues. The wire was pretty lean for QBs, so here are my front-runners:

Even in an 8 team league Hillman should have been picked up as soon as Ball was injured. Awesome for you though.justincredible;1671345 wrote:I was able to grab Martavis Bryant in both leagues and Ronnie Hilman in one. Nice week for waiver wire pickups. Dr. KnOiTaLLTrade Question: standard league with return yards.
Contemplating a trade where I send Harvin and Vincent Jackson for Julio Jones. Thoughts?
Matt Ryan is my QB, so I like the thought of double dipping on TD's potentially. -
O-Trap
Double-dipping is nice with a stud QB throwing to his #1. Not sure I'd put Matty Ice in the "stud QB" category this year, but with Jones now healthy, he could be a big help.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1671849 wrote:Trade Question: standard league with return yards.

However, while Harvin has always been inconsistent, he has more upside now.
The trade might end up being a crap shoot, but I would probably do it. -

As a fellow Vincent Jackson owner I'd do this trade just to get rid of him. Fucking bum.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1671849 wrote:Trade Question: standard league with return yards.
