Fantasy Football 2014-15

I was 1-5 but have won my last 2 and the team I face this week has no running backs available as of right now (all are on bye) If I can get to 5-5, you never know what might happen.

    Larry Fitz VS Dallas
    Shane Vereen VS Denver
    Steve Smith Sr. VS PITT
    Desean Jackson VS. Minn
    Pierre Garcon VS. Minn
I don't like Vereen, as I've made clear, but he's guaranteed touches.

    Sit Garcon.

    3-0 this week.

Finally have a good week across the board.

Moved into 6th at 4-4. Beat the top scorer by 1. Still 1st in points against.

Flex- Need 1. PPR. 1pt/20 return yards.

    Mike Evans
    Jordan Reed
Knile Davis- 24.85 points last week in this league.

Haha I would call it skill. I was 14-2 last year and led the league in points. 8-0 and leading in points this year.

Luck is colt McCoy scoring a rushing td she I had money on that happening lol

Davis but I know very little about return yard stats for those guys.

Well, Mike Evans and Jordan Reed won't have any.

Projections have Reed for 12. Evans for 11 and Davis for 9. They have Davis for 25 rushing yards, 1 catch for 7 and 41 return yards and half a TD.

Reed has gotten 24 targets over his last 3 games. Evans has 22. They are safer bets to get looks. If all the kickoffs are touchbacks, I am just playing a backup RB who gets a drive or two a game to give Charles a breather.

Haven't done any trades all year and now have done 3 this week over 2 leagues.

    Giving: Ronnie Hillman
    Getting: Allen Robinson
PPR and only need to start one RB, my WRs aren't that great and will have them all on byes soon, and have Andre Ellington

    Giving: Kelvin Benjamin
    Getting: Eddie Lacy
PPR and only have LeVeon Bell since Rashad Jennings is out

Giving: Brandon Marshall and Teddy Bridgewater
    Getting: TY Hilton
    PPR league

Not really sure why I said return yards for those guys lol I meant to say not really sure about how return yards factor into a fantasy play. Never played it.

I would go with reed though. Like you said, he's getting the targets.

My trade from last week was genius. Gave Vereen coming off a 25 pt game and got Dwayne Allen and Mark Ingram in return.

    Nicely done.

Damn, that was pretty good. I think Vereen will have some good weeks but he's a Belichick RB so who knows.
  • Laley23
Dwayne Allen is very TD dependent though, and track record suggests Ingram < Vereen.

Of course, I'd say good trade cause I would've done it all. Just not sure Id call it genius yet

TD dependent but a TD in 5 of his last 6 games lol

Which, I would say wont continue. But, Luck might be approaching Manning levels of keeping 5 guys happy a week lol.

5 tds in 6 games isn't some fluke lol it's not like he scored 5 TDs in 2 games.

They target him in the red zone and they're in the red zone a lot.

Would you guys start Mark Ingram tonight at Panthers, or Ronnie Hilman on Sunday at Patriots?
  • justincredible
This may sounds like a stupid question, but would you start Gates vs MIA or Kelce vs NYJ?

I have Gates in now, because he's Gates, but the matchup for Kelce is very favorable. MIA has only given up 4 TDs to TEs all season, and the last 3 games combined they've given up 14 total points. The Jets, on the other hand, have given up 9 TDs in the last 6 weeks with scores of 19, 11, 19, 17, 7, and 14 in those weeks. I'm sure I'll stick with Gates but I just know the Jets are going to break my heart and give up 2 TDs to Kelce.

I don't think you can go wrong, here. Obviously, it's possible for either one of them to have a big or lean day.

If I had to choose, myself, I'd go with Gates. Kelce has an enormous level of upside, but he's perpetually underutilized in the offense, so I think his ceiling is lower.
  • justincredible
I do know I'll be plugging Kelce in on all of my Fanduel lineups for the weekend.
  • justincredible
Actually, I just realized we have a FLEX (2, actually) and not a W/R spot.

Now my question is this, which 2 do I start?

Terrance Williams (ARI gives up a ton of points to WR)
Larry Fitzgerald (DAL gives up very few points to WR, but he has had 2 really great weeks in the last 3)
Michael Floyd (This guy is pissing me off a lot this season)
    Darren McFadden (Meh)
    Travis Kelce
  • justincredible
It really hit me just now how thin I am at RB in this league.

    Jamaal Charles
    Justin Forsett

    A decent 1-2 punch.

    And Darren McFadden.

That's it. Though I do have Ryan Mathews on IR.
