Apparently I spoke WAYYYYY to soon. Jordan Mathews just beat me. I go into the night games with a 37 pt lead and have Ertz and he has JM. I just lost. Unreal. Oh well, at least it's a 2-7 team who is done.Laley23;1672862 wrote:Gonna go 3-0 this week. -

SportsAndLadyCam and Benjamin putting up some garbage time points. Doesn't effect me but I'm sure someone out there is pissed and someone out there is jumping for joy.

That'd be me. Benjamin did jack shit until the 4th, not 2 garbage TD's give me the L. -
TBone14In my league.
Sanchez 27.68. Romo 27.34
So I CLEARLY made the right call. Got this fantasy stuff down...lol. -
SportsAndLady^ showed me

Terry_TateThought the Eagles D and Special Teams was going to fuck the Eagles offense out of points. Glad that didn't happen, 3-1 thanks to Sanchez tonight.
-
O-TrapWent 2-1 this week. In the league I lost in, I had the second-highest score of the week (15 points ahead of the third-place guy), and I only lost by 3.81 points.
Complete horsesh*t. -
TBone14Thanks to the Sanchize...I move to 5-5 in one league. Currently sitting in the last playoff spot with games vs 11 and 12 the next two weeks. The key to this team is Brandon Marshall getting and staying hot. Graham and Bell are weekly studs. I can start both Romo and Sanchez moving forward (super flex) since Palmer is out for the year. I like where this team stands after starting 1-3.
In my auction league...my season is over. 3-7. I LOVED this team after the auction. Thought I had a solid big 4 with Cutler, Charles, Nelson, Jeffery. Just haven't been able to buy a break. 5th in the league in scoring and have the most points against so a bit unlucky there but the team laid some eggs in winnable games. -
TBone14
That is a bad beat. Just about unfathomable. Crazy that he even started him. He was available in all of my leagues.Laley23;1673309 wrote:Apparently I spoke WAYYYYY to soon. TBone14Start Sit this week:
Tough one this week. I have a bunch of guys who are similiar at this point. PPR league.
RB2- Fred Jackson- should be more involved than last week coming off the injury. Or..Shane Vereen- should be a plus matchup vs the Colts but Belichick.
Flex-Need 2- Rueben Randle vs SF/Cordarrelle Patterson vs CHI (pt/20 return yards)/Jackson vs Buff/Vereen
I'm pretty much set on starting Vereen at RB so that leaves Randle/Patterson/Jackson for 2 flex spots. Or I can go to the wire for help. I'm 7th on the wire so I don't think I'll be able to get CJ Anderson, who seems to be the hot add this week.
I can start a QB in one of the flex spots but I'd have to pick one up. I was in good shape with Romo/Palmer/Glennon. The Bucs benched Glennon so I picked up Sanchez. He is starting in my QB spot and Palmer is out for the year and Romo on a bye. The highest projected players available for this week:
Austin Davis vs Denver
Bridgewater vs Chicago
CJ Anderson- Will be gone
Drew Stanton vs Detroit
Trich
So the wire is ugly. -
Laley23Would you make this trade?
Jimmy Graham and Montee Ball (Get)
FOR
TY Hitlon and Eddie Lacy (Give)
Roster after trade would be:
QB - Romo
RB - Ball
RB - Bernard
WR - Josh Gordon (G. Tate for 1 more week)
WR - E. Sanders
TE - Graham
FLEX - ODB
Bench:
-G. Tate
-A. Johnson
-Taliaferro
-Hyde
EDIT: I also have a major trade proposal (doubt its accepted) for Peyton Manning (giving G. Tate, E. Sanders and Romo) -
Lovejoy1984
That seems like a bad trade.Laley23;1673573 wrote:Would you make this trade?

Considering Ball isn't even guaranteed to be the starter when he's healthy.
Also who's your current TE? -
Laley23
Heath Miller...HighRoller74;1673575 wrote:That seems like a bad trade.

Its also a standard league. I get anywhere from 0-2 points a week from my TEs. Its been a black hole all season. -
Laley23My main reason for giving more than I will get in return is the fact that when Josh Gordon returns, only 3/6 can start (Gordon, ODB, Hilton, Sanders, Tate, Johnson)...Johnson is obvious. But, still have 5 very viable options. Seems stupid to have 2 of them sit on the bench while I roll out Heath Miller every week. Its almost like a Lacy for Graham and Ball trade if you say that Hilton will be on the bench.

Makes a little more sense then. Does he have anyone besides Ball?Laley23;1673579 wrote:My main reason for giving more than I will get in return is the fact that when Josh Gordon returns, only 3/6 can start (Gordon, ODB, Hilton, Sanders, Tate, Johnson)...Johnson is obvious. Or what about the owner of Greg Olsen? -

I'd play Jackson at RB over Vereen.TBone14;1673463 wrote:Start Sit this week:

Nope. He has all the Saints RBs and Vereen lol.HighRoller74;1673581 wrote:Makes a little more sense then. Does he have anyone besides Ball?

Olsens manager has stud WRs (which is what my bargaining chip is) as does J. Thomas'.
I definitely think that I am getting the short end of the stick, but at 4-6, and as I said, with Hilton a potential bench player anyway (Sanders and Gordon will be 100% starts), it kind of makes sense I think to pull the trigger. Hope Graham can find the endzone consistently down the stretch. -
SportsAndLadyWould not do that laley
No way -
TBone14Rams bench Austin Davis. Shaun Hill will start if you are desperate for a QB.
-
TBone14
Well...it is moot.SportsAndLady;1673582 wrote:I'd play Jackson at RB over Vereen.
And I'd play Patterson and randle at flex.
I traded Le'Veon Bell and Rueben Randle for Calvin Johnson and Terrance West. So...both Jackson and Vereen are playing at RB. I'm starting Calvin and Marshall at WR and the Evans and Patterson in the flex spots. I just dropped Palmer and picked up Hill so I may roll with him vs Denver this week (should be solid garbage time potential) and not play Patterson. Haven't decided yet. The only other starting QB available was Stanton (12 team league with the option to potentially play 2 QBs...it is tough when your QB goes down).
I'm done with byes after this week...my lineup down the stretch and hopefully into the playoffs will be:
QB-Romo
RB- Fred Jackson
RB- West/Vereen
WR- Megatron
WR- Marshall
TE- Graham
F1- Mark Sanchez
F2- Mike Evans
Bench- C Patt, West/Vereen, Knile Davis (just waiting for another Charles injury), Hill (likely to be dropped after this week) and Jordan Reed. -
Laley23Was unable to get him to to go for Gio instead of Lacy, but was able to up it from Ball to Vereen and pulled the trigger.
I am 4-6, probably gave up more than I got, but my roster wasnt making the playoffs. If Vereen can provide what he has the last 3 weeks, I will significantly strengthen my team. As I will replace Josh Gordon for TY Hilton. -
wildcats20Reggie Wayne or DeSean Jackson?
I'm leaning toward DeSean... -
SportsAndLady
Desean is a top 12 play every week haha absolutely deseanwildcats20;1673918 wrote:Reggie Wayne or DeSean Jackson?

His last 5 games rounded out: 24, 20, 6, 17, 20
He's a borderline WR1. Wayne isn't even a top 25 WR. Unless you're wanting to take a huge risk with Wayne vs NE's tough D, you need to start desean against the buccaneers defense. -
wildcats20Ok.
Another one: My gf has Jimmy Graham and Antonio Gates. She thinks Gates vs Oakland, but I am saying Graham every week unless he's hurt.
