Followed your guys' advice and did the trade. I just picked up Davante Adams and Jarvis Landry on the waiver wire as well so I am looking pretty solid at WR, haha. It's not a PPR league so it probably is a better idea to start Jeremy Hill over Ellington some weeks after reading your guys comments and thinking about it some more.O-Trap;1676244 wrote:You make that trade, definitely.
As for starting him, I might rotate him and Ellington based on matchup. Hill has looked excellent, but Ellington gets so many touches. -
O-TrapHere's a question regarding my scramble to assemble a competitive team after two starters hit the IR in the same week (and another is up in the air to play this week).
My flex spot is open in a half PPR. I have Bishop Sankey, who I don't love, but it seems like he'll be the mail-carrier. I have Kenny Stills, who looks like he might have an increased role with Cooks now out. I have Crabtree, who has gotten at least eight targets in four of the last five games (and seven in the other).
Who do you start in a flex spot among those guys? -
IliketurtlesI'd probably go with Crabtree. I think no matter what Stills is always a boom or bust guy and you're just hoping he gets that 50+ yard TD. Sankey I've just never liked him at all. Plus I think with Mettenberger they are looking to pass a lot more.

I'd go with either Stills or Crabtree. Crabtree might be better this week since they're playing the Redskins at home and the Saints are at home against the Ravens. Seems like Colston and Graham are at the top of the pecking order in NO and getting a lot of targets, so I'd think Crabtree is the better play.O-Trap;1676256 wrote:Here's a question regarding my scramble to assemble a competitive team after two starters hit the IR in the same week (and another is up in the air to play this week).

justincredibleGordon or Roddy White? Obviously Gordon is the better WR, but White has had two solid games in a row and Gordon hasn't played in a long time.

Why not both?justincredible;1676348 wrote:Gordon or Roddy White? Obviously Gordon is the better WR, but White has had two solid games in a row and Gordon hasn't played in a long time. -
justincredibleLooked at my lineup again.
My question should have been pick two between Gordon, White, Ryan Mathews, and Crabtree. And I think the answer is Gordon and White. -

Yeah, I would take a previously idle gordon over Crabtree and a hobbled Mathews easily.justincredible;1676351 wrote:Looked at my lineup again.

There shouldn't have been the need for thinking at all! You're subconscious should have just easily picked Gordon and White lol.justincredible;1676351 wrote:Looked at my lineup again.

IliketurtlesMade a trade last night in my main league. Need to win these last weeks to make the playoffs. I traded Vincent Jackson and Lions Defense for the 49ers Defense and I also picked up Kendall Wright to replace Jackson. Also the dude who did the trade with me dropped the Colts Def to free up a roster spot. I've put in a claim for them as well lol.

O-TrapNon-PPR flex: Steven Jackson or Anquan Boldin?
I'm leaning toward Jackson because of the guaranteed touches, even though I know he has a lower ceiling. Anyone think Boldin is a safe enough play to disagree? -

hangonsloopyWould you start Bernard for Cincy today? I have CJ Anderson in my 2nd RB spot and Andre Johnson in my flex right now with Gio on the bench.

SportsAndLadyPlay Anderson and gio

Azubuike24Damn. PPR. Play 2, WR and FLEX.
Wayne. Stills. D-Jax. Smith Sr. Gates. Sankey. S-Jax. Sanu. -
SportsAndLadyD Jackson and gates I guess? Lol
-
Azubuike24Luck as my QB, so I started Fleener at TE over Gates. But that makes me want to play Wayne too...shit. Thanks for the response. I'm gonna go with a gut and play D-Jax and Stills. Sitting Wayne.

This is what I'd pick. I think Stills does well today.Azubuike24;1677064 wrote:Luck as my QB, so I started Fleener at TE over Gates. But that makes me want to play Wayne too...shit. Thanks for the response. I'm gonna go with a gut and play D-Jax and Stills. Sitting Wayne. -
O-TrapOdell Beckham is not human.
Starting him in two leagues.
Feels good. -
Laley233-0 again, and with Gordon back in all 3 leagues I am happy.
To bad my teams started out like shit. Unstoppable lately. Have all 3 wrapped up by the end of the afternoon games 3 weeks in a row (minus the fucking Jordan Mathews game). -
Lovejoy1984I'll be down 39 following this game ending.
With Jimmy Graham and Torry Smith to go. Don't like my chances. -
SportsAndLadyMy undefeated season is on the line
Going to be down 24.5 with Justin tucker and Ingram tomorrow night. Opponent is done. -

Fairly good chance of going 4-0 this week, which would be the first time doing that all year, and might just be a coincidence it happened when I got Josh Gordon back in all 4 so I share your joy.Laley23;1677609 wrote:3-0 again, and with Gordon back in all 3 leagues I am happy.

I think you have a shot. I am biased because I need Graham to go freaking bananas to steal a win and clinch a playoff spot tonight. Graham makes 30 point games look easy in PPR leagues. I can see 8 for 120 and 2 TDs tonight. When we last saw the Ravens in a game not vs Tennessee, they were busy giving up over 300 and 6 TDs through the air.HighRoller74;1677613 wrote:I'll be down 39 following this game ending.

So 30 out of Graham is possible and then you just need 8 out of Smith. Hell...you might be favored to win. I promise you...your opponent isn't feeling great. Smith catches bombs and Graham is Graham.
