I think we all know each other pretty well.
Well, if you want to get purely technical, on a personal level, I don't GAF; on a pure logical level, I generally disagree simply because whatever message(s) the players wish to make will wind up completely ignored underneath all the "I'M SOOOOO TRIGGERED!!!!!!" outrage, which makes it a futile gesture in the long run.

The rulebook and the league operations manual are two separate documents.

Rest assured that it's completely accurate.

I guess at the end of the day, that at least it's not the "hands up, don't shoot" tomfuckery.

I fail to see the comparison between the US and nazi Germany.
  • SportsAndLady
Nor do I agree that the league is very boring.

He was describing the 1st Amendment. It's peoples right to take a knee here, unlike Nazi Germany.

Nikischer, however, still has another gig to fall back on, according to his Facebook profile, which indicates he’s employed as a court officer for New York state courts. Lucian Chalfen, director of public information for the court system, confirmed Monday that Nikischer has been employed by the court system since 2007 and now works as a court officer in Buffalo, earning $75,389 annually.
this negates his action and simply makes him look like an attention whore

It's stupid honestly. Lebron and other NBA players did it the right way with the shirts, but athletes should've learned after what happened with Tommie Smith that it's a bad idea to do this.

The NFL is going to take a huge hit for this, they're pissing off so many people

Like what? A half point loss in ratings?

Look at NASCAR about how fast a sport can fall. We're probably 5 years away from sub 10 ratings for the NFL

Without question. The pace of the decline will be accelerating also.

The only true audience for the NFL will be third time convicted felons serving time and Friday/Saturday jail drunks... Hope the owners have a advertising marketing plan for non income audience.

I'm not watch a game until the game become a game again....

My favorite is when people record their rants in their car and post it to Facebook. Always a safe bet to see a couple of those viral videos when these type of topics come up.

Not FB, nor novel-sized (he did that earlier), but along the lines of this bit of stupidity, right?

Gotcha. To me, he was saying you either have freedom to protest or you have fake nationalism where everyone has to say how great their country is. You can't say we're better and then force everyone to cheer for you. If you're better people have to be able to say they are unhappy, even if they are morons.
