Disgusted with Progressives

I've long been against using prefixes before stating nationality, unless you were a dual-citizen or just recently immigrated. I think this is just segregating yourself on purpose and has very little to do with advertising culture. But now black students have taken this two or three steps further by now insisting that they have separate events for such things like graduation. And for the life of me, attacking a professor (who is progressive lol) who didn't want this act of segregation to happen, threatening not only him, his wife, the president of the school and the campus itself ... just doesn't make any sense.

This is a big problem with progressivism. It's very reminiscent of the French Revolution in the fact that the movement is starting to eat itself. We all remember Robespierre. I would hope that this trendy movement soon digests itself before even bigger issues/drama/events/problems arise and then disappears.
As I have said before, liberals have been supporting segregation and disenfranchisement for awhile now. They either don't realize it, or they don't care, because they have chosen part/agenda over country. This is what they stand for.

Ehhhhh, you never really heard or saw the term "alt-right" used until about August of 2016 when the liberal media said "oh shit, Trump might actually win"....Then all of a sudden "alt-right" was everywhere despite 99.9% of the population having never heard of them.

It does seem to be coming full-circle.

I think part of the problem is some people always need attention, always have to' have some thing to complaint about, some injustice to whine about. I think they look at civil rights activists of the 50's, 60's, 70's and feel cheated that all they have today, mostly, is Net Neutrality.

The inevitable outcome of "safe places" is going to be crying about not doing enough to integrate the community (which probably comes down to sensoring people you disagree with).

Stop. This isn't the first time you've made this incorrect assumption. I have no problem with Democrats. It is well documented that I'm a Rubio fan, and as such, believe that the president should try to represent ALL Americans, even the ones across the aisle. I clearly have a problem with progressives....you know the SJW's that the "normy left" fails to call out that you decried.
With that said IMHO they are a small minority and outside the normy left. I will add that the normy left appeases them because they are afraid of the SJW wrath.

IMHO dems should repudiate the SJW left in the same way some Never Trump right have tried to repudiate the alt-right.
You can't have a dialogue when you call well meaning people racists and bigots, when all you do is shout and don't listen, when you attack the symbols and the ties that bind us together.

That's all I'm doing here Boat....I'm calling them out. I'm calling out the loud, intolerant, self righteous voices, like others on the left need to do.

I must say it was heartening to see so many on the left disavow Kathy Griffen. It's a bit unfair to her since she's bearing the brunt of outrage that should have been voiced before......had that repudiation been forthcoming, perhaps she would not have been so emboldened. But what you allow and tolerate will continue to happen and grow.

I said that with sarcasm, emphasizing the obvious gross generalization that assumes that Democrats ALL have sexual issues/perversions. Obviously, that is an untrue, unfair characterization. The vast majority of Democrats are fine upstanding people of good moral character.
However, let a person associated with the Republican party make a misstatement, an unintentional slur, or a "microaggression", and the entire Republican party gets labeled athe party of racism, sexism, and bigotry. That happens all the time, the media feeds and supports it, and nowhere to be found is a Dem willing to call them out on it.
    You know that's true.

The shoe fits that's why. That is the Republican party, stop voting for it.

Well the Republican party just elected a candidate who spent 8 years questioning Obama's birthplace because of his skin color. He also was elected boasting about sexual assault and "Grab 'em by the *****" is now a Republican slogan.

But yeah, they aren't the party of racism and sexism. Nope, just identity politics. :RpS_w00t:

Speaking of partisan sheep being sheep, anyone else find it hilarious that liberals are now countering the unemployment numbers with the labor force rate, welfare, underemployment, etc? It's as if we never heard those arguments during the Obama admin, hmmmm.....

To be fair we have idiot conservatives banging the drum on the unemployment numbers now. So fucking predictable, and also sad that the media (or in sleepers case a girl) can easily manipulate people.

Yes the hypocrisy only exists by the liberals. Conservatives are still championing how horrible the economy is and how we need to get Obama out of office and MAGA!

Right, because I changed my entire stance on every issue after November 8.

My stance has been pretty consistent for the last 6+ years. Sorry your girlfriend won't let you think on your own anymore.

Edit: I'm also sorry you're rattled to learn that some people don't have to toe the party line. Let us know when you stop being a partisan hack sheep.

I don't even have a girlfriend, not sure why this continues to be brought up.

Again, I'm a moderate and I've explained my current thought process many times already on these forums. Continue your witch hunt though.
