We really should start to separate the democrats and liberals out from the Regressives...oops "Progressives". Liberals and mainstream democrats are America loving people too....they just have a differing opinion on how and who should control the allocation of resources. for the most part they are reasonable people who appreciate how our government works. "Progressives" on the other hand, are intolerant, self righteous, elitists, who when they don't get their way 100%, resort to name calling and personal attacks and intimidation. We should be very wary of anything they say, as well as their spawn, because they are proving to be mirror images.

Is Loudmouth, Self righteous, Intolerant, Elitist party taken?

and the 2017 Trump administration and its supporters answered, filling the definition of callous, greedy and bigoted, and its leader definitely showing himself to be a bastard.

Loud of mouth in asserting for those Americans denied their basic rights, a party made up of truly righteous selves working to make this a better nation, intolerant of bigotry, a true elite of compassion and goodness.

The Kennedy Democrats are sadly no more.

Hail Trump! obviously you would not meet the high requirements of this party but would easily slide in among the greedy, callous and bigoted.

Tonight, let's call out Lizzie Borden.....errr.... Lizzie Warren. The other day Lizzie swung the big "progressive" axe of RACISM! ...in an attempt to slay the chances of Senator Jeff Sessions to become attorney general. Clothing herself in Coretta King garb, she attempted to SMEAR Senator Sessions as a racist by reading a letter that was 31 years old. You'd think she'd have found some evidence more recent...like this from 1999.
    https://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/jeffsessionsrosaparksgoldmedalbill1999.htm

or maybe even ASKED the King family about Sessions.
see Alveda King's comments on Borden's ...oops sorry...Warren's attempted smear.
    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2017/02/08/alveda_king_warren_using_the_king_name_to_play_the_race_card_coretta_wanted_to_bring_people_together_not_divide.html

So, a couple of Republican's came to his defense.. because it's apparently against Senate rules to smear another member...especially with such falsehoods.

Now one might think that when caught in a lie, she might reconsider her charge and behavior since numerous examples exist that her implications were not true.
HAHA!...playing the victim with plenty of help from her progressive buddies, and aided by a coddling media she doubled down on the accusations in a later tweet calling Sessions straight out a racist, a sexist and a bigot. (apparently she didn't go for the grand slam and add homophobe too).

So, watch the reporting on this...again a great opportunity to test the trustworthiness of your news source and favorite political figures. How many attempted to at least balance the charge of racism versus the actual facts of Sessions career?

Ugh. Dark days. And it started long before Trump. :(

Trump needs to ignore this stuff......take the high road. Giving them attention by tweeting and talking about it gives them the press they need to push back

Elizabeth Warren is a freak. Don't forget, she also pretended to be Native American once.
Add Booker to the dumbass democrat class too. Literally praised Devos 2 years ago and now she is the devil. These people act like their past isn't recorded, yet democrats won't care at all. And then ass all the racist comments Tim Scott for from the left for voting Devos. The party of "tolerance" practices 0 tolerance

This is an interesting video from Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report. Why I left the Left:

I think hits posted this in another thread, but great video. I have liberal friends who are just like Rubin and it's easy to have a debate with them even though we fundamentally disagree with each other. It's my other friends who have gone full regressive mode and just repeat the regressive rhetoric we are accustomed to now. It's hard to have a legitimate discussion about (let's say) the economy when "bigotry, racism, sexism, white privilege, etc" is thrown around.

The sad part is I have very intelligent friends (a lot more smarter than I am) who resort to this. They are much better than repeating that bullshit, but now it seems to be a go to crutch when all else fails.

JFK would be seen as a conservative republican today.

The slide to the left has been very substantial; the rapidity with which we have amassed $20 trillion in debt is but one significant measure. Unfortunately it seems that progressives would rather become enslaved by creditors, or Marxists or Communists, than become responsible adults aspiring to the American ideals that laid the foundation for the greatest political experiment in world history.

    ^^^^ at like that
...as soon as they throw the racist/bigot/homophobe/sexist card out there, the discussion stops. In the same way we were talking about 'fascism' earlier in the thread, the goalposts are moving are moving to fit their narrative. I was talking to a family member about Black lives matter/All lives matter, and by arguing for the seemingly harmless, self obvious statement of 'all lives matter', I was accused of using 'racist tropes ' (whatever the f*** that is). Needless to say, that pretty well ended the discussion with neither of us gaining any understanding.

But American ideals are born of bigotry and racism and patriarchy, and our founders were racist slave holders!

At the rate we are going I can envision 20 years from now being castigated and fined for pruning the trees we 'own' on 'our property'.

    Someone, please stop the insanity.

They have done in the past 8 years what no outside force, power or organization has been able to do....that is, divide this country, cast doubt and aspersions at its great institutions and history, and rock the bulwarks and underpinnings of our republic. Our founding fathers have been labeled as racists, the Constitution attacked and belittled, our flag disrespected as a symbol of all our imperfections. Pushing their agenda, they have set off racial tension, set men against women, attacked well meaning good people as racist, bigots, homophobes. They can't even be civil in the halls of Congress.

If George Bush and the Republicans own the Iraqi War and the great recession, then BHO and his minions own this.

This thread is intended as push back.
We the people who actually love our country need to call them out, so that good sense doesn't get drowned out by the volume of "Progressive" caustic uvulations.

This thread is NOT intended as a Trump apology thread.
DJT is the predictable bastard child of 8 years of bad behavior...and yes, they own that too.
Typically, having spawned him thru their irresponsible actions, now they want to 'abort' him. :o

Please post the latest crap that they pull and call them out......and there is plenty of it.
There is an element of the progressive movement that is divisive. But it would be refreshing if the party that claims to be for personal responsibility would push back the cognitive dissonance and actually acknowledge that their president and representatives are literally trying to find "legal ways" to enact a muslim ban (giuliani's words, not the progressive grievance caucus) - literal division on the basis of belief and national origin.

Take responsibility for your own failure and stop blaming whiny progressives who have no real power and stop acting like whites being unable to handle Obama being sympathetic to black kids like Tamir Rice means HE was divisive when the embarrasment in the White House is literally enacting divisive policy.

And gain the irony of complaining about divisiveness while impugning the people in this diverse nation who think differently!

Maybe if you don't use God Emperor Trump's daughter's brand of shears.

If they were trying to enact a muslim ban they would not have left out 9 of the 10 largest muslim countries from the EO, which was issued to improve our immigration processes and enhance the safety of the citizens.

Giuliani's words not mine brah. Moreover God Emperor has failed to produce any it will make us safer. At least some of you wear your support for the embarassment as a badge of honor.
  • QuakerOats
It would be quite humorous if it wasn't so serious: we have uber-safety conscious liberals who won't ride their tricycle around the block without a helmet, yet won't lift an elbow to enhance safety by halting terrorists, criminals, drug dealers and human traffickers from infiltrating our country. Psychotic.

Perhaps you should research who owns significant portions of our debt.

The $20 trillion supply of treasuries is an asset for our economy and hopefully Trump will increase it. 1. Because it will benefit our country. 2. Because I,want to laugh at you when you fail to criticize Trump for the same things you would, have for,Obama.
