I have other things to do besides hunting down old posts I missed. But if either of those guys claimed that a republican staff flunky in Pigsknuckle, AR who had pedophilic crimes was promoting the national party platform -and I happened to be on OC that day - I would object.superman;1855389 wrote:Cool just point out the post where you called out Slerper and Isaderp for doing the same thing. -

Ha I guess Sleeper's new troll just doesn't bother me. If he really is a lib these days and not just a Trump-hater I would be surprised. He was probably one of the first internet forum trolls I ever encountered back in the days of JJHuddle calling christians stupid.like_that;1855369 wrote:lol I don't think you have read enough of sleepers posts lately to see what we are doing here. -
Dr Winston O'Boogie
I don't see how it's false. You said the pedophile aide in NY represents the Democratic Party. That kind of conclusion makes no sense whether you're referring to the dems, repubs, or the Marigold Party. It'd be like saying that because an accounting assistant at a Maine firm got busted selling meth, then the accounting profession overall supports illegal drug trade. That was my point. I would say the same to you or anyone else.superman;1855426 wrote:Nice false equivalency. You are a one sided hack. Admit it and move on. -
HereticCool, since Sleeper has a dipshit act, everyone is joining in on being a dipshit to make this forum even more dipshited than usual, which given the site's more prolific political posters, really says a lot.

Fairfax Va. mayor is busted in sex-for-meth sting. Of course, he's a democrat.
Thank gawd he's not a racist. -
Dr Winston O'Boogie
I guess I just don't understand the point you guys are trying to make. Is it that because of this mayor, everyone who is a democrat is a drug dealer? That doesn't make any sense. A lot of politicians are shady characters. Maybe it's politics itself that attracts people who think they can behave anyway they want. Political philosophy doesn't seem to factor into it.HitsRus;1855449 wrote:I'll call....

I just liked the "of course, he's a democrat" part, because NO republican politician at any level has EVER been caught doing illegal or immoral (or both) while in office.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1855513 wrote:I guess I just don't understand the point you guys are trying to make. Well, I hate to say that any politician having a scandal is not surprising. Some psychologist could probably make a connection between the risk taking of running for office and engaging in bad behavior, or the type of narcissism required of both. But to me I don't think it's got a thing to do with what party one belongs to. And even more so, I think it's ludicrous to take a person's behavior as a representation of a party's philosophy. That's what I don't get.Heretic;1855522 wrote:I just liked the "of course, he's a democrat" part, because NO republican politician at any level has EVER been caught doing illegal or immoral (or both) while in office. -

Liberals do not support religion, but have long been for women's rights and against abuse. Opposing Sharia law and Muslim values (not that I agree) should be a slam-dunk, EXCEPT Republicans are already on the anti-Islam train (sort of). So rather than risk agreeing with Republicans on anything, they're going to ignore one agenda in favor of another.
It's the simple math that being able to call Republicans racist for the Muslim stance and condemning them for it is worth more political capital than strongly opposing Islam for its treatment of women (which they do and have, but it's largely absent in present messaging).
Really just another commentary on the stupidity/ignorance of the average voter. Politicians just don't think your complicated enough to be capable of being tolerant and respectful of Islam while simultaneously opposing its treatment of women and condemning the radical terrorist elements. -
isadoreThese incidents have been covered for years by NY times and other msm outlets and protested by various human rights groups.

It's absolutely true. Politicians are obsessed with creating single-issue voters and herding them into voting blocs and keeping them there.like_that;1855838 wrote:And they would be right, because the sheep follow no matter what.
It would be less effective, and less of an issue, if ANY of the media fairly and objectively covered both sides of an issue, and pros and cons of both. One of the more unfortunate things about Trump is WaPo and CNN - which both used to be pretty good - have completely abandoned any attempt at being moderately responsible left-of-center news organizations. -
iclfan2Lol one of the leaders of the women's march bullshit is pro-sharia law and anti-Jew... but she's a woman so it's cool! The hypocrisy is laughable and they don't even try to hide it. Let's just skim over the gender mutilation cases in Minnesota and Michigan that is from "moderate" Muslims too. People need to wake up.

Linda Sarsour is a friggen idiot. I'm not a fan of zealoutry of any sort to begin with - but Sarsour believing that the hijab and niqab are "liberating" to women is hard for me to figure out. The only explanation that I can imagine is that it's liberating in the fact that if women can't be seen by any other men except their family members, then they would be safe from any sort of accusations and therefore will not face any strife because of it. Freedom of accusations/liberation of accusations.iclfan2;1855844 wrote:Lol one of the leaders of the women's march bullshit is pro-sharia law and anti-Jew... but she's a woman so it's cool! Also, moderate muslims are starting to gain some traction in the media, but are constantly challenged and undermined by some people (also in media) on the left. I find this astonishing! The people doing this, I think, have good intentions (at least via virtue signaling) but get disorganized in their minds and negating anything that they are trying to do. I just saw a perfect example of this yesterday watching a vid by Sargon.
Hopefully these people become aware of what they're doing rather quickly and cut that out. -
CenterBHSFanMeanwhile, black students on various campuses have lately been purposely segregating themselves:

I've long been against using prefixes before stating nationality, unless you were a dual-citizen or just recently immigrated. I think this is just segregating yourself on purpose and has very little to do with advertising culture. But now black students have taken this two or three steps further by now insisting that they have separate events for such things like graduation. And for the life of me, attacking a professor (who is progressive lol) who didn't want this act of segregation to happen, threatening not only him, his wife, the president of the school and the campus itself ... just doesn't make any sense.
This is a big problem with progressivism. It's very reminiscent of the French Revolution in the fact that the movement is starting to eat itself. We all remember Robespierre. I would hope that this trendy movement soon digests itself before even bigger issues/drama/events/problems arise and then disappears. -

For the life of me, I don't know why a group who purports to want to be equal is so set on segregating themselves..... -

I think it may be reasonable to believe it could be liberating - like perhaps any religious enlightenment - if a woman voluntarily converts to Islam and chooses to embrace its principles against vanity, etc.CenterBHSFan;1855863 wrote:Linda Sarsour is a friggen idiot. Unfortunately in much of the Muslim world the religion itself and its customs are used as vehicles of oppression and some westernized muslims often fail to acknowledge this. -

One thing I thinks that these illiberal leftists have a very outsized voice on college campuses and these things get a lot of press coverage as they are so heretical to current norms.CenterBHSFan;1855864 wrote:Meanwhile, black students on various campuses have lately been purposely segregating themselves:

With that said IMHO they are a small minority and outside the normy left. I will add that the normy left appeases them because they are afraid of the SJW wrath.
IMHO dems should repudiate the SJW left in the same way some Never Trump right have tried to repudiate the alt-right.
