Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

You spent 8 years crying like the biggest L'il Bitch in the world and now that you approve of who is in charge and others don't, it's time for them to leave the country. The sad thing about comparing you with Sleeper is that we at least know that he's just a troll act. You seem to sincerely believe what you say.
You continue to equate the defense of individual liberty, the promotion of fiscal sanity, and adherence to the constitution with 'crying'; I am not sure why. Perhaps you love BIG government running your life and that of others, which is counter to the American experiment.
Good luck. -

At this point, I feel like you should go see a mental health professional. I hope you are able to find redemption.QuakerOats;1851620 wrote:You continue to equate the defense of individual liberty, the promotion of fiscal sanity, and adherence to the constitution with 'crying'; I am not sure why. Absolutely disgusting move by the GOP. Amazing that women continue to vote and support a party that does not care about them at all.
I hope everyone is calling their congressman and letting them know this is an unacceptable GOP owned bill. Otherwise, complicit! -

I would, but the mean republicans just took my health insurance away and now I am going to die. -

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/obama-warned-trump-against-hiring-mike-flynn-say-officials-n756316Former President Obama warned President Donald Trump against hiring Mike Flynn as his national security adviser, three former Obama administration officials tell NBC News.
The warning, which has not been previously reported, came less than 48 hours after the November election when the two sat down for a 90-minute conversation in the Oval Office.
Still amazes me that the GOP continues to chose party over country and by doing so remain complicit in this travesty infecting our Oval office. -

Come on. Trump is so awful. It shouldn't be hard to rip on him without resorting to that. -

Sorry but until the GOP actually does their job, via the will of their constituents, then they are complicit. Did you watch the Yates/Clapper hearing yesterday? The GOP is more concerned about leaks than election manipulation and potential coordination with a foreign power. The GOP is more concerned about Hillary's emails(still!) than why it took the Trump team 18 days to fire Flynn once he was compromised(fired Yates instead).O-Trap;1851936 wrote:False dichotomy with some intense hyperbole wrapped in.

The GOP owns this. This is what the GOP supports; party over country. It's really quite sick. -

Probably because the "manipulation and coordination" didn't happen....and the leaks are a felony and we don't live in a police state!sleeper;1851995 wrote:The GOP is more concerned about leaks than election manipulation and potential coordination with a foreign power.
The big deal about Flynn is basically for getting started on his job early - he discussed sanctions a month before being confirmed for the job. Not exactly the stuff of scandal. -

Nice opinion. But these aren't facts. Sorry!gut;1852006 wrote:Probably because the "manipulation and coordination" didn't happen....and the leaks are a felony and we don't live in a police state!

sleeperBTW without the leaks, Flynn would still be the NSA. Trump knowingly hired and continued supporting a man for 18 days before his firing(and after the leaks).
That is fact. It's extremely chilling you support and condone this. -

This has to be a major conflict of interest. I don't care which side of the political spectrum you are on, this should be a concern for everyone. -

You do realize that it probably took a couple of weeks to investigate this information once the trump team took charge? I am sure that taking over a government is kinf of a busy process the first few weeks.sleeper;1852012 wrote:BTW without the leaks, Flynn would still be the NSA. I don't support or condone it. The reason is to prevent undermining a current administration, even if in the last month things really should be coordinated, anyway.sleeper;1852012 wrote:BTW without the leaks, Flynn would still be the NSA. But how did I mischaracterize it exactly? Wouldn't surprise me if this happens often, to varying degrees....it's just the intelligent services aren't spying on them and then leaking juicy details about conversations about grandkids.
It's chilling and surprising that you support the police state actions of Obama to spy on political opponents. -

He was warned by Obama at the meeting right after his election day not to hire Flynn. He still hired him.Spock;1852016 wrote:You do realize that it probably took a couple of weeks to investigate this information once the trump team took charge? He was warned by the ATTORNEY GENERAL that Flynn was compromised by Russians. That revelation made him fire the attorney general and keep Flynn for an additional 18 days until leaks came out that ultimately forced his hand.
The investigation was already complete long before Trump took office and Trump ignored all of that and hired him. Trump team; complicit, GOP complicit, you, complicit. -

RENEWING a program is a conflict of interest? Should we not give residence to rich foreigners that want to invest here, or just boot them out and make up the taxes on backs of the middle class?ppaw1999;1852014 wrote:http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/kushner-family-stands-to-gain-from-visa-rules-in-trump%E2%80%99s-first-major-law/ar-BBAU7nY?li=BBnb7Kz

You clearly didn't watch the hearing or haven't been following anything other than probably what Fox News is reporting. No point in educating you, you are complicit and are willfully ignorant to what is happening in the world around you.gut;1852018 wrote:I don't support or condone it. rocketalumWhat I find frustrating is all the people taking a "nothing to see here" approach to Flynn, business ties, nepotism etc... would be flipping their collective shit if our current President had a 'D' after their name. This "team" mentality to politics is hypocritical nonsense. If there are two teams it's not D v R it's People v Government. As long as we continue to divide our team and root for someone on the other we will continue to go 0 for...

Great post. Too bad it will mostly fall on deaf ears. #MAGA -
rocketalumI mean can you even imagine if Hillary had won and given official white house jobs to Chelsea and her son in law. The force with which the heads of some of our resident pro Trump posters would explode would leave pieces of them in multiple counties. But a job for Ivanka and Jared...no big deal. Maybe it's just me being a naive centrist Independent but shouldn't that stuff just be totally unacceptable regardless of party?

Starting the job early made him vulnerable to blackmail. Possibly, but kind of a stretch, dontchya think? Not really on the same level as Hillary's emails and foundation. -

Yeah Spicer and the Trump team(and Fox News, no surprise) keep blaming Obama for Flynn. I'm not sure what more Obama could do; he fired Flynn, warned Trump the day after the election in person about Flynn, his AG warned Trump that he was compromised, etc. What more could Obama do?
GOP defends and supports this incompetence and lack of accountability. -

That isn't the issue. Starting the job early is not why he was fired; he was fired because he was COMPROMISED BY A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT. He just happened to "start his job early" on the FOREIGN GOVERNMENT THAT HE WAS COMPROMISED BY.gut;1852028 wrote:So a long-winded way of saying I'm right?

-Sally Yates 5/8/17"We believed that General Flynn was compromised with respect to the Russians. Logic would tell you that you don't want the national security adviser to be in a position where the Russians have leverage over him."
