Both the Comey,, FBI, and Clapper,DIA, both say no wiretapping of Trump Towers. Donald, liar, liar pants on fire.
What would you expect them to say? We broke the law for a guy no longer president so we could keep a firm grasp on the current one?

Hail Trump. You mean the government official who did so much to torpedo the Clinton campaign.

This is what happens when people don't learn to lose at a young age. Participation trophies ruin society.

The liberal media has been losing their shit for almost half a year about Russia interference. But the only thing they will say about this accusation is "well, if it's true then Trump must be dirty for a FISA warrant to get approved". But the potential use of "police state" powers to target a political opponent? Crickets.

So the narrative has already been established - if true, the FISA warrant is PROOF it was justified. And Obama couldn't "order" it, anyway....so the narrative has already been laid out to exonerate the Obama administration of any and all wrongdoing.

Although I'm going to guess Trump has gotten bad "intel" here from some hard-right media source...and it should result in his impeachment for multiple reasons.

Sir are you questioning the honesty of Mark Levin and Breitbart. Obviously our President doesn't.

Bruce Bartlett @BruceBartlett Take Nixon in the deepest days of his Watergate paranoia, subtract 50 IQ points, add Twitter, and you have Trump today.

    The plot is thickening....
    Hillary Clinton‏Verified account @HillaryClinton
Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank.
That tweet was on Oct. 31st. If there had been a FISA warrant to monitor the server, it would have been classified. Hillary, at that point, would have had security clearance....OR it was leaked, directly or indirectly, to Hillary's camp. Which, again, further opens the can of worms that this was politically motivated.

Yes, we all know about Trump's insistence that the only reason he lost the popular vote was because of the (unproven) millions and million of illegal votes.

Hmmmm....brought to you by the same administration that DIDN'T use the IRS to target conservative groups, or blame a video and throw a patsy in jail for the attack on a US Embassy.

Sounds to me like people calling for the POTUS to be impeached and go to jail are about 3 months too late.

If true, a LOT of people need to go to jail for a very long time.

If it's not true, Trump should be impeached.
I saw this story and thought, oh for fuck's sake. I still think it is dumb as shit to argue and Trump is just pissed out and tweeted out the Breitbart story.
If there is no evidence to support this claim, the sitting President just stated the former President spied on him. That may not be impeachable, but it is damn near close.

This story is just a hell of a distraction. Why even bring it up? It just plays in the conspiracy theory folks.
There are more important things to focus on: His new EO on the Ban, the Healthcare reform bill, and hey no mention of the North Koreans launching 4 missiles last night?

I definitely agree with you on this. Trump should definitely draw a red line for NK!

The Obama administration asked for and was granted a FISA tap on Trump Tower during the height of the election. That's a fact, and it's not really in dispute.

So while yeah...the claim that "Obama tapped my phones" is silly and 1000% unprovable, it's pretty apparent that there was some sketchy shit going on nonetheless.

Well, Obama's strategic patience did not work, Bush's isolation and sanction policy did not work, and Clinton's engagement policy did not work. So, I am all ears about how Trump will address the situation.

    Wait, that's a fact?
Who said there was a FISA order?
All I read and heard was there was no order.

Oh I agree that sanctions/isolation doesn't work. The breaking up strategy doesn't work, either. But the last thing that the US needs is to have a President that will never be prepared to back up what they say. That was a lesson we should have learned from Chamberlain. Obama would have been better off to not say anything.

Speaking of Obama, this blast from the past speaks to current wire-tapping conversations:

If we're not working on putting the assets in place to take him out, why not?

Because there is this rich, new nuclear armed country next to NK that might not be to happy about it. 67 years ago we found out what happens when we push to near to their border.

Is that a fancy way of saying there was no policy, or that the policy was "do nothing"?

Ehh, I not sure taking our Kim Jong Un is such a great idea. Then what? Some radical general will take over and launch a 1st strike of all their chemical and nuclear weapons toward Korea and Japan?
Obama's policy was bad, I hated it. It was lazy to me. But, it is a complicated issue that is not going away that now Trump has got to deal with.

Just like he now also has to deal with Afghanistan. I wonder if he will increase our 9,000 we still have there due to the recent attacks by ISIS and the Taliban.

Perhaps, but if Trump wants to wage war in North Korea, he better have a really detailed plan for what comes next. Otherwise, we learned nothing from Iraq.

Do you think that the COIN strategy was given enough time?

    Yes and no.

Yes in that it really did work and put Iraq on the path to stability. No in that the Bush and then Obama admins. really did not push Maliki and the Iraqi Parliament on a better SOFA to keep U.S. forces in. Then again, back in 2009, the country was so sick of Iraq that it would be a hard political move for the U.S. to keep well over 100,000 troops there past 2009. Also, by 2009, those troops were needed in Afghanistan.

How dare trump pay $38 million in taxes....should of been $100?

BTW, Bernie payed half of what he did that year. Whopping 13% for Mr. Progressive.

    Congrats to him.
Now, release all the other years...

If he likes to boast how much he pays, then let us all know and squash all the rumors and dumb linkages to Russia business ties....
