Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

He's not going to fucking tap out on his own. Even if he does "resign" it would be because of all the shady shit he's doing. Which I realize you'll just spin and say he's tapping g out on his own, that the "left" and the media were just too persistent in accusing him of things and he couldn't take it!fish82;1853473 wrote:I'm starting to wonder if at some point he'll just say "fuck it" and tap out on his own.
But in reality, trump is a shady fucking president and it's going to lead to him getting kicked the fuck out of the presidency. -

I hope he resigns and confesses one day on why he actually decided to run for office. That will still never make sense to me. Go from making billions to being the most scrutinized person in the world for a fraction of what he was making.SportsAndLady;1853479 wrote:He's not going to fucking tap out on his own. It honestly sounds like he took the job to have a glorified vacation. The guy has played how many rounds of golf since he took over?like_that;1853484 wrote:I hope he resigns and confesses one day on why he actually decided to run for office. As long as we're taking a look at Comey memos....like_that;1853476 wrote:Sounds like the FBI will receive a subpoena for comey's memo. Putin apparently is willing to share the transcripts between trump and the ambassador. This is the closest we will see to impeachment depending on what is in that memo imo.
And it kind of sounds like the Russia/Israel thing is another fat nothingburger, with the real damage to national security done, again, by the venerable NY Times. Seriously, when it comes to Trump that newspaper is the National Enquirer.
I'm starting to wonder how much all of this is normal BS that no one bothers to leak or print if it wasn't Trump. And the whole Russia thing was kicked off by a dossier funded by Clinton supporters (no coordination there, I'm sure) that relied on key PAID sources (a.k.a. Russian spies).
And I can't stand Trump. Think he's a total ass clown. But the liberal media has been worse. This started the day after he won the election = extreme butthurt over Hillary not being entitled enough. -

Oh, no doubt most of it is bullshit that's being spewed out there by the media and trump's enemies.gut;1853486 wrote:As long as we're taking a look at Comey memos....

I just think it's funny that when ACTUAL stuff comes out about trump (firing comey because he wouldn't stop investigating trump), some people on here (not you) will spin it into something else.
Basically doing what we all hated about Obama nuthuggers. But they can't see that. Because Political Party! -

Golfing has always been kind of a meme - who cares if he he plays a round or two on the weekend? You can easily work 80 hours a week and still play a few rounds of golf.SportsAndLady;1853485 wrote:It honestly sounds like he took the job to have a glorified vacation. But I agree that I don't think he ever wanted the job - love the attention of campaigning and rallies, but never expected [wanted] to win. -

The problem is hundreds of millions of taxpayer money is being spent on his trips to Mar A Lago, a resort that he owns. And he's also on record saying "I'm going to be working for you, I won't have time to play golf like Obama did"gut;1853490 wrote:Golfing has always been kind of a meme - who cares if he he plays a round or two on the weekend? He's played 21 rounds of golf, as of May 6th. -

I think it's probably the only "exercise" he gets, so it's all more of a joke as it has been with every POTUS. Someone who exercises like 40 minutes a day is the exact same amount of time as 1 round of golf.SportsAndLady;1853493 wrote:The problem is hundreds of millions of taxpayer money is being spent on his trips to Mar A Lago, a resort that he owns. Fair enough on the costs. I've just never gotten seriously upset over a few hundred million on Presidential travel when these guys are running TRILLION dollar deficits. -
SportsAndLadyAh yes, exercise

I've wondered about this a few times, too. Wouldn't surprise me at all if this is actually how it went down lolgut;1853490 wrote:But I agree that I don't think he ever wanted the job - love the attention of campaigning and rallies, but never expected [wanted] to win.
If Trump gets put out of office, I seriously have to wonder about Pence at that point. I honestly didn't pay much attention to him at all, and still haven't, because I never had intentions of voting for him/Trump. Guess it's time to check out what he's all about! -

Now you have morons like sleeper perpetuating that by trying to shame people for voting third party. Great approach to breaking our flawed two party system! -

I think the main reason he ran was to power the Trump brand. Most stuff he does seems to be more to get attention than anything else. He prefers to govern from one of his properties instead of the White House and often comes off as more concerned with touting himself and yelling about real or perceived slights than actually accomplishing stuff.like_that;1853484 wrote:I hope he resigns and confesses one day on why he actually decided to run for office. Makes me wonder where Bases Loaded went, since he always was great on keeping people updated on how Obama was playing golf instead of doing president stuff.
Oh, and don't forget about however much money is being wasted so his wife and son don't have to live with him because they love New York so much. -

I remember hearing rumors that he was going to launch a cable news network, which would have made his campaign one giant promotional push. And that makes much more sense than any of the other theories I've heard. Might also explain why he pulled O'Bannon into the mix.Heretic;1853519 wrote:I think the main reason he ran was to power the Trump brand. Probably should resign by citing "family issues" and GTFO to start his media network.gut;1853527 wrote:I remember hearing rumors that he was going to launch a cable news network, which would have made his campaign one giant promotional push. SportsAndLadyIf Trump resigns and Pence is now President..is there a new VP? Who decides the pick?

Pence would pick a new VP, then it would have to be approved by both Houses of Congress.SportsAndLady;1853535 wrote:If Trump resigns and Pence is now President..is there a new VP? Who decides the pick? -

There are a lot of people to blame for what's going on in America right now. Third party voters are way, way down on that list.isadore;1853540 wrote:gosh a ruddies, they should be shamed as should anyone who did not vote for Hillary. They have brought this scourge on America. -

Yeah, the alternative was Hillary. Blame Dems for not giving us viable options other than Killary and Weird Uncle Bernie. Blame Repubs for ignoring several quality candidates and nominating Trump.justincredible;1853544 wrote:There are a lot of people to blame for what's going on in America right now. You know it was a really, really, really very shitty election cycle when people on both sides of the aisle were wishing Joe Biden would throw his hat in! -
