Breaking down Bernie's plan

Belly35Bernie why is Bernie still around, because he and his money other socialist money people are waiting for the Hillary crash. That moment when the FBI files, that moment Leaner mention Hillary, that geek drop the ball on Hillary e mail server, that time when 4 dead America soldier lives matter. Bernie will be the last man standing for the Socialist Democratic Liberal Party. It will be like a grand opening of a new Wal-Mart in all the splendor of free grab bags night in Ferguson.

gosh a ruddies. The people who add value to our society are the working people who are exploited by an economic system stacked against them. The present system as it has functions for the last several decades that has denied the rewards to the average American. The system is stacked to reward the privileged haves only.sleeper;1785676 wrote:It's not the problem of successful people, people that actually add value to society, to make sure those who add zero value get free handouts for existing.
The policies are working as intended, providing incentive for people to achieve success which filters down into a better life for everyone. If we slant out policies to incentive poor behavior, we all lose. I'm hoping the next President puts policies in place that provide even greater incentive to aspire for greatness rather give handouts to stupid people. -

O-TrapI made the mistake of venturing into the Politics forum ...
1. The site quoted is not a recognizedly fair source, and the writer here was a supporter of Bernie Sanders going into the study per his own words:
"When I started supporting Bernie Sanders for President, I fully expected to pay a little bit more to ensure that all of my neighbors were guaranteed access to healthcare and a decent standard of living. That would have been a good deal in my book. The fact that he can do all of that and more while saving money for the vast majority of Americans is a nice bonus, though."
As a matter of inductive logic, it can then be said that he seems to have had his conclusions set prior to actually gathering the facts outlined. There should be no shock that the party he already supported going into the study is the one who looked good coming out.
2. To suggest that people who run businesses will never react to policy which affects their bottom line is asinine. Now, if the difference is negligible or would cost more to circumvent, then perhaps they might resist reacting, but people will always alter their actions in light of policy that affects their financial state if it is prudent to do so. I've worked with a company over the last several years that moved its corporate headquarters to Mauritius because of new tax policy in its prior location. And because people will react to policy, you can't look at the current economic climate as an adequate variable in trying to determine the effect of policy change as it relates to that climate. If a bully steals your lunch money on Main Street when you walk to school, and you can get there another way, you'll get there the other way. The same driving logic applies.
3. As for the free education and so forth, talk to a Cuban. Castro had similar policies set up, but they resulted in such increased use that the burden left those not in power also in poverty, whether they had to pay at the window for their physical at the doctor's office or not.
4. Ultimately, it won't matter who is elected, because there will be enough fighting among the houses of Congress that anything Sanders would hope to pass would die in Congress, anyway. Frankly, at this point, I don't mind. A government too dysfunctional to pass ineffective and additionally restrictive legislation might be the true "lesser evil" of the whole of politics at the federal level.
Ultimately, while we're arguing over whether it's the businesses ruining the economy or the government ruining the economy, I would suggest that it is when each tries to force, coerce, or deal the other side into something that ruins the economy the most. -

Wealth flow to those who work for it, will to achieve, set goal, acquire skills and education and most of all has ambition. Mobility requires a backbone, dedication, passion and gumption .... Anything less laziness.
youre poor because you want to be poor .... It is your comfort zone -

I know; isn't it amazing!
The only part I can't figure out is why tens of millions of people are still risking their lives to escape socialist/communist repression in their own country in order to come to America for their opportunity to improve themselves in our free enterprise capitalist economy. -

The economic table will always be tilted to the talented and productive. Tilting it in any other direction would be a disaster that we would never recover from.isadore;1786501 wrote:gosh a ruddies wealth flows to the haves because they have tilted the economic table. hardly, gosh a ruddies. What you have is increasingly a system that sends it rewards to those with wealth at the expense of those whose labor produces that wealth.sleeper;1786546 wrote:The economic table will always be tilted to the talented and productive. Incorrect, the US accounts for about 20% of the worlds immigration (incoming) even though it is only 5% of the world population. In other words, people would rather be here.isadore;1786549 wrote:Gosh a ruddies you are pathetic in your need for attention. According to Wikipedia, there are only 800,000 TOTAL US immigrants living in ALL of the European Union. There are over 4 million from the EU living in the US.
Sorry that facts don't like up with your asinine statements. -
