You may not like it but it is a valid survey. Like all surveys there is a margin of error. Like I siad before, the results are consistant with others before. All show Kasich popularity in the tank and SB5 is heading for defeat. No amount of your so called 'journalism' experence is going to change thoses facts;)

Common sense alone is all that's needed and, unlike you, I have plenty of that.

It's not a popularity contest; it's a management issue, and he is making all the right moves. Kudos to Kasich for doing the right things, including taking on the incredibly powerful greed of the public sector unions. We could use a few more like Kasich.

Propaganda bull-shit but keep drinking the kool-aid. When the majority of people think you are wrong and you keep thinking your right don't you ever wonder whats wrong?

    Enjoy your one term Governor.

I don't necessarily care if he is a one-term governor as long as he reverses the financial destruction inflicted upon the state, municipalities, and school districts resulting from the unaffordable and unsustainable compensation packages and asinine work rules emanating out of the massive greed of public sector union 'leadership'. The 28 year experiment of public sector collective bargaining has proven to be an unmitigated disaster for which middle class taxpayers are bearing the brunt of. It is time the interests of the taxpayers and citizens are rightfully placed above the greed of those feeding at the public trough.

So far all he has accomplished is exactly what you clam he is solving. He is like Nero burning down Rome. You have yet to cite one valid study that public employees receive more in compensation then people in the private sector with comparable jobs. There has been many studies (which have been previously cited on here) that show they make less then the private sector. There are also lots of states that do not have collective barging in the public sector that also are in dire financial difficulties. But don't let the facts get in the way of your argument. See what happens in a few weeks.

I think they have room temperature IQ's and attended places like Ball State.

Are you speaking of the state of Ohio or at the National Level? I don't know what the numbers are inside the state of Ohio. But from the national perspective, the public employees make an unbelievably higher amount of money than the private sector....in comparing the exact same jobs.

Not to mention that the firing rate is over 10 times higher in the private sector vs. public.

As for links....they are all over the place proving that.

He is like Nero burning down Rome.
An inaccurate misconception probably started by the Christians he persecuted....maybe a little like the 'persecuted' public employees. LOL.

Even if it were true, it would be a poor analogy to use at best, for your purposes.... since out of the ashes of the great fire, Rome rose to become an even greater city.

Journalism training, on the job experience, 30 plus years of media relations and -- most important of all -- common sense.
What is a "retired" Journalist anyway? I have never heard of one before. The ones that are good 1) Never retire or 2) Write books. You are neither so you must have been shown the door for being the hack you are.

Meanwhile, I see Kasich has continued his "laser" focus in jobs in Ohio. We are second in the nation in job losses, after narrowly getting beat by North Carolina, which reportedly lost only 600 more jobs than Ohio. How many new jobs have been created in Ohio since he became Governor? Ohio lost 57% of the jobs it created so far this year last month. Nice job!

It is possible to retire from a "regular" job and continue to work at your craft -- which is what I do (freelancing) as time and other factors permit. Once again you try very hard to discredit anyone who challenges your ridiculous drivel, and fail miserably.

Oh and so far as I know, Kasich hasn't managed to lose any major corporations to other states, like his predecessor did. In fact, he's actually helped persuade several Ohio-based companies to stay in-state, which at least gives hope for new jobs when the economy turns around.

Can't have that hope when the governor sits on his ass while companies move to Georgia or elsewhere.

Pretty hard to turn around a state that has been run into the ground by democrat union mentality over the last 40 years. Thank God he has the b*lls to do what he is doing; the gravy train is over, and it's about damn time.

The only "looser" (sic) I've seen around here is some numbnut who actually bragged about attending a toilet like Ball State.

and the chubby little moderator of this forum, of course.

Taft - a republican -- funny. What I am talking about is the forced public sector unionization thrust onto Ohio taxpayers in 1983 by a liberal democrat governor and his band of democrat union machine-controlled legislators. Remember that? And ever since, the slide into fiscal ruin has ruled the day ...... on top of the all the other industires wiped off the map because of union greed. I am sick and tired of thid party special interest groups (unions) standing in the way of Ohio citizens/taxpayers and prosperity. We have seen the carnage wrought by democrat union control; we have barely survived, and now have a chance to turn the tide. It is time for the powerful and greedy union stronghold on Ohio to be put to bed.
