Governor Kasich

What I am talking about is the forced public sector unionization thrust onto Ohio taxpayers in 1983 by a liberal democrat governor and his band of democrat union machine-controlled legislators. Remember that? And ever since, the slide into fiscal ruin has ruled the day ...... on top of the all the other industires wiped off the map because of union greed. I am sick and tired of thid party special interest groups (unions) standing in the way of Ohio citizens/taxpayers and prosperity. We have seen the carnage wrought by democrat union control; we have barely survived, and now have a chance to turn the tide. It is time for the powerful and greedy union stronghold on Ohio to be put to bed.

I am sure you long for the good old days before unions existed when you owed your soul to the company store. There are many unions out there, some good some bad. Lumping them alltogether shows how little you know. What makes your special interest groups better? The koch brothers do not have your interest at hart.

Coming from you I take that as a complement. All you ever had is a poison pen. You never put in a hard day of work in your life.

Nor do George Soros, Pat Stryker or David Bonderman.

More testimony to your education, I presume. I don't know this Yon. He a friend of yours?

Now we can agree on something. Sorry I am in Columbus spending your tax dollars at a conference. The OC needs a app for droids. I suspect you would be much less brave in person. Just like dancing boy fishie.

This is an accurate statement. I majored in Business Admin. and minored in Economics (a subject that I still love today). As an elective, I took a course regarding the history of labor in our country.

Absolutely fascinating. People today who blame the world's woes entirely on unions have not had the willingness to research the topic from a historical point of view.

From Sanual Gompers all the way through..the battle for workers rights. People like Andrew Carnegie have museums and Universities named after him. And he was as rotten of a bastard as there ever was.

My dad was an engineer who worked at US Steel for 40 years. I remember him telling me that "unions were a great thing" when they were first instituted. Unfortunately, "they became too demanding, costing America dearly".

Is this supposed to mean something? Are you telling me you'd get physically violent with one of us for having the temerity to challenge your inflated sense of self?

What do you think it means? Are you as fucking stupid as fish is in giving his personal address on an internet discussion board? All I said it is easy to hide behind a public forum and throw stones like you do. I bet you use to be one of those kids who got beat up in school. You have something else in mind?

    Mad again.

I'm sure glad you're "just here for entertainment purposes," and "don't take any of this seriously."

You chose to bring me up, Sparky...again, I might add. Jeannine says hi...and also that if you're going to obsessively stalk someone's family over the internetz, that you at least spell her name right. ;)

I'm afraid you're not helping the rep of the ol' Alma mater this morning.
  • Bigdogg
Writer, you are just a sad little man with above average writing skills Back on topic, what has Kasich done to focus like a laser on Ohio's problems? what's next more anti flag burning laws or more one man one woman legislation? He has hit the other BS talking points so far.

I'm not the one who's full of bluster and BS, and implying they'll physically harm someone over discussion on a bulletin board.

And I'm supposed to be the sad little man?

Take a good, long look in the mirror...assuming you can do it without puking on your shoes.

As far as Kasich and jobs: I already answered it. You were too wrapped up in your own rhetoric and vitriol to notice, apparently.

As I said before; it is not a popularity contest; it is a management issue. He is doing the job that needs to be done, and that is all that matters. He could care less if it offends a few people, and I could care less either. Real leaders have to make real decisions that chart a path for the better; he gets an A for that so far.

If you took your blinders off and lost the personal vendetta you might understand.

    Remarkable....

If only President Obama WERE doing the right thing. I guess we can all dream.

As for Kasich: he's trying to change the culture of a state that has been an economic failure for decades. It's obviously an uphill battle.
