This streak SHOULD end for the Jets this season. Crazy that Namath threw for 4k in 1967.

That's crazy on Namath but I can't really think of a really good Jets QB since him. Most consistent was probably Chad Pennington? Maybe someone else?

Sipe's record was 4132 yards, I believe, and he was the NFL MVP that year. With a 17 game season, I'd expect both Rodgers and Watson to break those records. 4000 yards is only 236/game.

Also a bit surprised that Lamar didn't throw for >4000 his MVP year.

How thrilling.

IMO, If it’s the week one game that’s lame for both teams. Idk I think week one should be a non-divisional matchup.

I hate the last game of the season being against a division opponent too. Seems like the last 5-6 years it's been Browns/Steelers in the final week.

Browns will definitely see what they're made of right out of the gate with 3 of their first 4 games against division opponents (Cincy week 1, Pittsburgh week 2 and Baltimore week 4). Also funky that 4 of their first 5 games are at home.

Jaguars back to back games in England seems weird

Works out in Jacksonville's favor. The Bill's game is considered an away game for Jax and they get to skip actually going to Buffalo and they will have two straight weeks in London, so there won't be any worry about adjusting to the time change.

Jags owner loves him some Europe/England. If they expanded to teams overseas he'd probably be the first to raise his hand to relocate.

Only people outside of Jacksonville think this. In reality, he is personally spending hundreds of millions of dollars to revamp the area by the stadium and turning it into a full-on entertainment district. There is no way he would spend that amount of money only to take away the area's biggest draw.

He definitely looks tiny behind an NFL line.

The Browns may now have the most potent pass rush in the league, acquiring 3 time Pro Bowl DE Za'Darius Smith from the Vikings for peanuts.

Smith, Garrett & Onkoronkwo should be quite a rotation. Can't double team three players if they decide to go into a Nascar package on passing downs.

Still could use another DT and a LB but this defense should be significantly different this year.

So which AFC team is Deandre Hopkins going to that’ll make the conference more stacked. Bills? Chiefs? Somewhere in the AFC north?

Dallas was supposedly slobbering all over him. Bills have a dicey cap situation to fit him in. Baltimore & New England have both expressed interest.

If Mahomes wants him, they can get him if they redo Mahomes contract and extend him.

Career suicide (not that he has much career left) if he goes to Baltimore with Lamar.

Browns fans chirping they want him but that's a pipe dream.

In really interesting "not exactly the NFL" football news, apparently Crazy Antonio Brown owns an arena team in Albany.

In news that will be totally shocking to anyone who's paid attention to AB over the past few years, in a handful of months, his ownership has led to:

1. A ton of turnover in both players and coaches, with guys being hired and fired on a weekly basis.

2. A whole lot of complaints from people about not being paid on time.

3. Brown saying he was going to suit up and play and then not doing so in the game that was supposed to be his debut.

4. The team having a 1-6 record.

5. Brown giving a rambling conference recently where he positioned himself as a hero who is keeping football in Albany and complained about not being supported by the community. In the article about that, it was stated that the team's attendance was notably better than it was the previous year.

6. Oh, and they got kicked out of their league today due to Brown not making required payments and also refusing to pay a fine.

Doesn’t look like much but he’s clearly an entitled one with that NFL WR crazy.
