The East seems to be evolving.  Let's wait on the 1-16 seeds.  Also, you can't blame Lebron for being against it.  East has been a much easier route to the finals than the brutal West.

Imagine if Lebron was a fan and all the further speculation it'd cause. "Lebron wants the playoffs modified so he isn't stuck playing Golden State in the first round next year!"

McHale maybe not the numbers but with that team of all-stars it took from him. He was as good as anyone on this list during his healthy years.

We would all like to think we’d not do the same. But there is no way to know the answer until faced with it. Saying you’d not do it if in the same situation - if you’ve never had the experience - doesn’t mean anything. 

I think we should wait to hear the whole story before we pass judgement on the guy - to not act like the rest of the NBA.
