FIFY

But he's SOOOOOOO good on defense.

I'll beat the dead horse that is my broken record, but it bottles my mind how much these suck ass NBA refs let Lebron get ass-fucked.

Expecting the worst but hoping for the best. If they can steal one tonight it could put the Warriors on their heels. I think the only way they have a snowball's chance in Hell is if they play bully ball or how they did in Game 7 against Boston and keep it low scoring. They tried to go toe to toe with them last year (offensively) and it failed miserably.

If they shock the world in this series it will rank right up there with the Miracle on Ice, Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson, App State over Michigan, etc as one of the all-time greatest upsets.

Also heard some of Lebron's interview with Rachel Nichols. All I can say is "Lebron being Lebron." lol

If this happens, the MJ/LBJ GOAT debate will be over for good...period.

Cavs are stealing game 1. What Lebron did in game 7 made these other Cavs players believe they can actually play basketball. They want to take it to GS, and I think they do.

I don't like when you have bullish takes lol.

Yawn. Don’t care. Post that shit in the NBA thread, this is the thread for the NBA finals.

Agreed.  Let's enjoy this run, before we get into NBA gossip.  Not to mention this is old fucking news.

Sorry. I thought this thread says Cleveland Cavaliers 2017-2018 Season? I must have missed the memo.

I think Lebron lays back in game one and tries to study the best way to attack the Warriors. Like he did in the first game of the previous 3 series. Lucky to get the win in game one against Toronto, pretty much blew off the first game against Indiana and Boston.

And this is why I didn't bother posting about that link and just posted my "Also heard some of Lebron's interview with Rachel Nichols. All I can say is "Lebron being Lebron." lol" comment. It's NBA Finals time so Lebron's gotta make his annual comments to make the media & fans go "oh my." Just focus on the task at hand and that shit will (or won't) take care of itself after the season. Enjoy the time he has left here and maybe he surprises us all and stays?

I agree with S&L, especially with Iggy (aka "Cavs killer") out...Cavs by three

Would be nice, but I expect a 20 pt+ blow out.

i unfortunately feel like we'll have a good game and feel like we'll have a chance and the Warriors will inevitably start hitting their 3's and we lose double digits.

Posting a “Lebron is mad at the organization” article and then commenting that he is leaving Cleveland on the MORNING OF the NBA Finals is just a troll job. Like I said, fuck off with shit. You can discuss in the NBA thread if you’d like but the Cavs thread is not the place to do that (unless you wanna get told to fuck off).

The Warriors are a fantastic scoring team but if you get them in a close game, they have a real good chance of shriveling. Yes, they are very good at blowing teams out but I can't remember the last time I saw one of them have to hit a game winner. If the Cavs can keep this close, the Warriors could gag.

The Cavs, imo, are playing with house money. No pressure on them as nobody thinks they have a shot. The pressure is on Golden State, just like it was when the 73 win team gagged away a 3-1 lead. They are such huge favorites that another choke job would be embarrassing so they could get tight.

I'm saying we could be up just like Houston was, and before you blink we're down 15. Thats how warrior games seem to be. JUst when you start to feel good they make everything they throw up and bury you.

And that's where the Cavs will need to slow it down and make it more physical. Yes, the Warriors will get their open 3 looks but if they bring the ball in the paint, make them feel it. Just once I'd like to see a Cavs basketball team not be a bunch of p#ssies and send the message to the opposing team.

I'm leaning toward the Cavs getting blown out.  I have about 5% confidence they can win this series.

Cavs 92 - 115 GSW

I honestly don't see how the Cavs keep these games close. If GSW shoot poorly, and they don't give up offensive rebounds...then they don't run and take 20 seconds each possession...and LeBron shoots 65%. Maybe then.

Jay Williams brought up a great point. You stick with okay and steph and just let Durant go 1 on 1. Warriors are st there best when they spread the ball around. Forcing Durant into iso heavily favors the Cavs. I would give zero help on Durant and let him get his and just clamp down on everyone else. The only concern is being able to score enough

This is the only chance. I just don’t think we have 2 guys who can lock them down. I also don’t see anyone like Houston had who can slow Durant. He will get his, but you’d like to make him work and have some empty possessions. Not sure he will have to work too hard.

Anyway, hope I’m wrong. Rooting like hell for Cavs. But I was just knocked into defeat when Paul went down. Cavs versus Houston had at worst a great shot.

I think Jeff green could be that type of guy. If he wanted it bad enough. Also if I was lue I would play Cedi 10-15 min in this series just to give that energy and another guy to throw at Durant maybe frustrate him a bit
