But CLE finally looks like they've arrived. Lost a few games they probably should have won, but they're well coached and closing out games.
Still not sold on Mayfield, but otherwise that team is absolutely a contender.
We still have a lot of holes on defense that were hidden the last 3 weeks because we played Houston, Chicago, and Minnesota without Cook for a good portion of the game. The blown assignments in the secondary are just inexcusable.
That defense was fucking trash

But you've got a great offense, and that's what drives the league these days.
I actually think you have a stud HC. To do anything in the playoffs, you need a much better D. And, honestly, Mayfield is kind of a JAG. But that team should be good for a long time.

In this day and age good teams can't last that long due to pay structure.

Totally disagree. PIT really didn't lose anyone that mattered the past 15 years despite paying a franchise QB.
The challenge is drafting late year after year.

K. Call the fucking game correctly

Sure....Because it's not as if that can't be called on almost every play, and despite that isn't still called 2-3X per game.
LMFAO.....now that the Browns are actually good and you're all paying attention - you're going to be SOOOOOOO pissed at the rules and officiating.
Welcome to being relevant

Shocked that you’re being a cunt... I’ve watched every game that’s ever existed that the Browns have played since I’ve been alive. I’m not blaming the refs, they fucked themselves. But some shit is egregious. It’s like mlb letting retards continue to call balls and strikes who have a history of being awful, statistically, with video evidence.
I had to leave to do a job and missed the 4th qtr…..other than the blown coverage, when I watch the Browns appear pretty much unbeatable. Offensive line and defensive line are great, running game great and most of the game has good play calls and a good balance…..but as mentioned above using Hunt late instead of Chubb seems ridiculous. I feel personnel wise they are as good as the Chargers and right on the Chiefs….Mayfield I feel is average but with great surrounding players could grade out top 8 if playing well. I think Herbert is a stud and soon to be elite QB. Mahomes of course is the greatest difference maker of all. I think the Chiefs, Chargers snd Browns are all similar and all very good…..Bills and maybe Ravens and maybe Titans very good but in a different way/style.
But what I’ve watched the first 5 weeks the Browns are a handful for everyone and a little cleaner games and they aren’t losing.
It also seems like most AFC teams are pretty formidable…sans Jets/Dolphins/Jags/Texans…and maybe Colts too

And THAT is why you're such a clueless biyatch about the NFL.

Gut is so mad the Browns are good. Pulling out the General Zod/Non theory of watching bad or good teams…not a good look.

Non was the worst user name change ever lol
Disagree with the comment 'Stefanski is a stud HC."
Oh, he's very good but he's had three chances to beat teams at their level (KC 2x's & LA yesterday) and he's turtled in the moment. He's a riverboat gambler all game long with his 4th down calls but when the game needs iced, he shrivels in the moment.
Don't get me wrong, I like him as the HC but he needs to fix these issues. The three games I mentioned, they should've won at least two of them.
Three minutes left in the game, an Andy Reid or Sean McVey are going for the throat, passing the ball or at least using play action to their advantage.
The Chargers are not a better team than the Browns. They came out with the W yesterday but you can't convince me they are the better team.

I'm not going to lie that it's very possible that the Browns join them (Steelers) in the basement this weekend but, if you look at the schedule, they (Pittsburgh) are about to finish up their "easy" stretch and should be staring at another 8 losses before year end.

I don’t really get his point. The Browns are relevant now, so that means we are not allowed to complain about horse shit calls that impact the game? That’s literally what Steelers fans have done for the past 2 decades every week of football.
I always get a chuckle out of gut discussing football. It’s clear he hardly watches the game, but he is bored, so he tries too hard to apply his smug troll act to the Browns’ threads.
Btw, the non theory is an OC classic.

From what I've seen, not from posters on here, every time the Steelers lose it's someone else's fault. Not that they have an old, shitty QB, a poor O-Line or a defense that is a shell of it's former self, it's always the refs, etc.
And the mindset is always "because they were good in the past, things will ALWAYS be that way." You can see that in previous references to Tomlin never having a sub .500 record and Roethlisbergers previous track record. Just like their mindset that "the Browns have sucked since 1999, they'll ALWAYS suck." It doesn't work that way.
Every fan base tends to think they've gotten jobbed by the refs. Some more than others.
