So, nothing new.  Although, I have to disagree.  Not really a fan of the Ravens trading up for Lamar Jackson and I don't think Rudolph will be good at all.

Never understood why fans get upset about “reaching” in the draft. The guys you draft are either good or they’re not. If we reach on a player but he turns into a pro bowler is anyone going to remember that we reached on him? Lol

I mainly agree with this, except for RBs.  It's a reach to draft them high in the first round.  I'd much rather get a pro bowler at a more valuable position and then pick a RB later, which is what I hope we did with this draft.

Yeah, unless you draft an elite RB. I’m sure NO steeler fan would complain that they drafted Leveon 10 spots ahead of where he was expected to go.

They also didn't draft him in the first round.  And as I have said before, they value him so much that still haven't offered him an extension.

I’m with you. I’m just saying if we grab a 2nd-3rd round RB and he turns into a great player, no one is going to QQ that he was a reach where we took him.

Wasn’t the Pitts first pick a reach?

Honest question.... Are we ok with this only because Dorsey is a “football guy”? Like if Sashi made these picks you’d know we’d question the hell out of them.

I still go back to taking ward at 4, passing on Chubb and getting this dude in the 3rd. It seems like we could have gotten Chubb at 4 and josh Jackson later. And the gap between josh Jackson and ward isn’t as great at Chubb and this Miami dude.

No one knows how these guys will do, so just let it play out.

Callaway and Gordon? The Browns better draft a babysitter with their next pick.

I love the pick of Calloway as long as he stays clean

For me it doesn't really matter.  In the last 10+ years, there have been drafts I liked or even loved and drafts I hated.  We all know how that has turned out.  I already said fuck this "I trust dorsey" bullshit.  A gm has to earn our trust at this point, but I will give him a fair chance like I do most gms.  No sense in getting overly upset or hyped before we even see these guys play a couple seasons.

Superhugh risk high reward pick in Calloway. I’m good with it tho w a 4th. Lot of media on twitter said he was a 1st round talent. Has been training with Antonio Brown and said his new daughter changed his life. Let’s hope.

Dorsey rolled the dice on tyreek Hill in KC, let’s hope this pans out like that did.

And at 175 some random wr with 30 catches in 2017. Per twitter, average tape but solid combine numbers. Whatever I guess. Clearly not impressed with the current stable.

Just took a WR out of A&M that I've never even heard of lol complete project. Has great physical attributes though.

I thought we did well in the first, took some eh questionable but I can see it/understand it in the 2nd, then went lolwut/who? in the 3rd, then a total POS in the 4th. Overall not super impressed with the draft and it was set up to be a huge homeroom.

at 33 take Landry, 35 take Connor Williams/James Daniels/Christian Kirk/Anthony Miller

3rd Round: Take Reid/Nathan Sheppard/Royce Freeman/Sam Hubbard/Orlando Brown and it's a better draft IMO. I will say, after Baker our next 5 picks were big SPARQ guys (advanced analytics) picks. the fucking DJ from Miami and the POS Callaway just scream reaches to me.

I agree with some of the above, but Calloway is only a reach if you think he won’t stay clean. Another team was going to draft him which is why we traded up, and he’s a 1st round talent athletically. That other wr that we drafted probly would have been an udfa

I like our current draft better than your wanted draft. Neither of us are right yet. We have to see how it plays out.

You think you're smarter than everyone. How's that "Build the O and D line!" mentality working out for us? Lol

I'll take Dorsey's draft over what you wanted.

Most posters in this thread are smarter than any GM we've had since '99. Hell if we just picked the consensus picks that the OC wanted we'd be a in a MUCH better spot than we are now. Nice logic fail.

You have a point there.

In MMQB, John Dorsey was named one of the "winners" of this draft. Also a very shitty, and disturbing, blurb on the Josh Allen tweets. Sounds like teams that wanted Allen to fall to them dug these tweets up at the 11th hour.

Not sure if you guys discussed it or not already but Twitter seems pretty certain the Browns will be on Hard Knocks this year.

Had heard this. Should be interesting.

I'd like to know who Florio's source was on this because I'm pretty skeptical. I don't take Dorsey as some who'd change his mind, last second...
