I guess...
...but what's the point? Why would you not run the ball and try and eliminate the kicker element. 40+ yarder is not a gimme.

Didn’t they just lose 3 yards in the previous run?
39, 41, 43.....they all have to be made for game winners. Play calling wasn’t good once they got there. Kickers miss many of those for the game and they lose their job.
posted by Ironman92On a broken play. Of course it has to be made by the kicker. Doesn’t mean the coaching decision to kick was good. It wasn’t. It never is. I can justify 3rd down because of a botched snap (though still think just keep running and try to get a TD). But never on 2nd down.Didn’t they just lose 3 yards in the previous run?

You need a QB to lead your team to Super Bowl this year. Would you rather have Big Ben or Tannehill?
That's a tough question. Ben still doing head scratcher Ben things and I'm a Tannehill fan.

Big game experience Ben....Tannehill has the confidence I think but hard to tell until you see it deep into the playoffs a few times.
Ben throwing the picks in the 2nd half wasn’t optimal....if that continues at all Tannehill clear choice. Both solid though.
Ben's shown he can win games without necessarily having the best RB in the NFL on his team, so I'd still go with him even at this stage of his career. Unless Henry is added to Tannehill as a package deal.
Steelers/Ravens good game
Love Steelers play calling outside of the 3rd and 2 late to give ball back.
Steelers zone defense can be irritating but overall defense good. Offense good, punter good.
Tremendous start
I thought the defense PERFECTLY baited Jackson to running it on 4th and 3....well played
The NFC East sucks and 3/4 teams play on SNF or MNF stop ramming then down our throats NFL
Yeah I’m good on anymore Cowboys and Eagles games.
Bengals offense is fun to watch. They don’t miss a beat with Mixon out and Gio in.

I hate to say it, because I also hate watching them...but stop watching them. Cowboys could be 0-15, and still garner the highest ratings of the day. Philly and NYG not far behind in terms of top rated teams. Washington doesn’t move the needle though.
Cowboys win tonight....why, I don’t know

The division sucks and the best team is hardly better than the worst?
Little double reverse to start the night with Nooch as a lead blocker.

But also they got waxed by the Skins and now a third team QB

I’ve stopped. Watched the punisher instead
This is why Dallas and Philly will continue to get prime time games, no matter their records
Cowboys path to a win:
+3 in turnover margin (one resulting in a TD the other way)
Make 2+ deep passes beyond the secondary (at least 1 for a TD)

Pittsburgh decides to forfeit for some reason.
I'd say my only worry would that that this is Pittsburgh's inexplicable loss to a shit team that they tend to have every single year. Because there is no logical reason for them to even be challenged on a realistic level, but it always seems those games are the ones they're super-flat in and let the other team hang around until they eventually botch it away.

Happens every year for NO rhyme or reason. Should be a blowout
I don’t see a link yet but just watched DK Metcalf Cover Story on NFL pregame
....the world needs way more of those stories. Seeing how “human” he is, I’m a way bigger fan and already was one of my favorites.
Dez active for Baltimore today. Really hope he performs well.
Darius Leonard is 6’2 but has a 6’10 wingspan?
