Tiger has a 75’ 2-putt to make the cut at Torrey. Short game has been phenomenal, but the one bad one last hole might cost him. Driving had been an issue. All in all, looks like he is fine, just needs to get rounds under his belt.
Him practicing and hitting balls for over an hour after his round yesterday is a very good sign
Successful week for Tiger. He was never going to win, but making the cut and playing decent was key. He isn’t playing poorly, just not Tigeresque like we were used to. He hasn’t made many putts, but then again he hasn’t had many makable ones. His driving is really frustrating to watch because it seems like when he lays back and doesn’t go 150%, he still crushes it. Then he tries to swing out of his shoes and it’s all over the map. He was constantly outdriving Hoffman and Reed by 20-30 yards. He doesn’t need to hit it 330.

Probably happy as hell he can turn it loose like that. I’d like to see him finish out with a -4 and a -1 and take his 24th place and go from there. Hoping not to see the 77-73 finish
Tiger finished -3 and was dead last in fairways hit. His scramble game was very good. 4 consistent rounds and healthy....he was very happy with his week.

The ball went thru tunnel and on other side of building up against sidewalk....he got to bring it back through tunnel and then go about 15 yards to his left and drop behind that bunker
