No love for Crimson Tide?
No love for Crimson Tide?
posted by justincredibleAnyone planning to see Christopher Robin? If MoviePass will let us, we're planning on seeing it tonight.
I absolutely can't wait for this movie. I was a big fan as a kid, my mom loves Pooh, etc. The previews make it look extremely funny...
I may not see it this weekend, but definitely will be seeing it soon.

I believe MoviePass was already saying that one was going to be off the table.

I can access it through the app and select a showtime. I believe those that don't work are disabled from interacting with within the app.
posted by jmogI thought Flight and Book of Eli were great movies.
That was my point.
And just to be sure, I went ahead and secured my e-ticket. Not sure if it's because it's a tiny theater or what, but it definitely let us get tickets.
I just viewed the AMC closest to us and it is marked as "This premium screening is not supported."
I agree that Denzil is very very good.
Unstoppable, one of his movies that most people don't like, is a favorite of mine because I like trains and the passenger cars that the little kids were on towards the beginning...those cars I've actually ridden in because they belong to our town's railroad heritage society. And also, much of the filming was done in nearby Brewster, which is headquarters for the Wheeling and Lake Erie RR. (They borrowed several engines and specially painted them for the movie)

So maybe it's a "by theater" basis? I don't have MoviePass, but I've been reading some of the stuff going on with it over the past week.

A good amount of it was also filmed in my area (Bellaire, Martins Ferry, etc.), such as the opening where he's walking down the hill and the Stone Bridge scenes.
Good movie, even if that isn't typically the type of movie that I'm into.
Does anybody like to watch the ole b/w classics?
I just watched "Rebecca" last night and it's definitely an 8.5/10

funny you mentioned it, but just last night I watched "Man with a Golden Arm" starring Frank Sinatra...love the Chairman of the Board, but my god, that movie was awful.... 2/10

The original Night of the Living Dead (again) a couple weeks ago!
$3 beer on Thursday's at our local theater. This night got a little better.
Christopher Robin was very good. A little slow to start, but overall I really enjoyed it.

The price is right, but the movie better have multiple intermissions cause I'd be pissing every half hour or so-lol
Doctor Strange - 7.5/10

You know, my wife really didn't like it, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
This Is the End
I knew what I was getting into going in, so there weren't exactly any expectations.
5/10 -- Middle of the road for what I was expecting.

That seemed like a lock for me to love, but I fucking hated that movie.
I love that movie so much.

I can agree with that. It was too long, yeah.
Jurassic world new one.
4.8 out of 7. Wasn't terrible. Left open for the next one so who knows how that one will go but hope they go away from the weaponizing of the dinosaurs
