I've read that the governor and a few other notable officials in Minnesota seem pretty convinced that the rioters and people escalating the situation tend to be out-of-state people coming in to start trouble. Including the St. Paul mayor stating that about all the people that have been arrested by his department have been out-of-state. They seem to think it's white supremacists and drug cartels using the protests to sew chaos, while the Trump is yelling about it being Antifa.

Saw a video on twitter of skids full of bricks dropped off in areas so people could root with them.  Unreal how these communities are getting played

Was that before or after they were blocking traffic downtown?

They weren’t specifically blocking traffic it was so many people they couldn’t stay on the sidewalk and then spilled into the street.. even  if they were what type of protest would you suggest? One u can easily ignore I’m sure

You generally seem like a good guy, but the message of non-violent protests is not followed by many BLM members.

I just want peace before our cities are ruined.

U know zero blm members lol

I know someone who had his business looted by BLM. I'm sure that BLM is going to reimburse him for his loss.

It's a garbage organization. Why do they feel the need to attack the innocent?

It's been very well documented that over 100 businesses were looted in Columbus. I feel bad for the innocent owner that I know. You care more about supporting criminals. I have called out every criminal action (black or white). You keep making excuses for the black crime.

Cool “black crime” haven’t made any excuses. I said I wish it didn’t happen. What do u suggest they do instead?

I just want peace. People going out in large groups every day makes it much easier for the worst elements to blend in and do much damage. Going after innocent people isn't the best way to win people over. I'm upset at what happened with the officer in Minnesota, but he is being charged with murder. I'm not sure what else they can do to him.

Went out to dinner tonight about halfway between our house and downtown. Decided to drive died there afterwards to see what was going on. There was a large protest “parade” walking through the streets of OTR. We got stopped at a light waiting for them all to cross. We didn’t see the start of it but waited through several light changes before it cleared. I’d guess there were a few hundred people, everything was peaceful. I dug it.  The police presence was pretty intense, we passed one swat vehicle that was absolutely packed with kitted up officers. All doors were open on it, including the top hatch, as it passed us. It was ... interesting to see dude’s almost falling out of the thing with their rifles at the ready.

One thing that really stuck out, two tankies clearly in Antifa were walking up the street completely separate from the protests, and they looked like they were ready to start some shit.

And apparently things have gotten tense outside of district one headquarters. Just saw a video of some flash bangs going off and people running away.

Too hard to follow things on Twitter. Everyone pointing fingers at everyone else. Sounds like shots fired in downtown Dayton rally.

I just looked it up.  About 92,000 pounds of tea.  Present-day value of the damages is estimated to be north of $1MM.  That's certainly significant.

It may have been less public, but I think it's a more apt parallel than perhaps you were considering.

you have really got to stop comparing these riots to the Boston Tea Party.

The only similarity is that private property is/was destroyed.

read this paragraph from History.com...

No one was hurt, and aside from the destruction of the tea and a padlock, no property was damaged or looted during the Boston Tea Party. The participants reportedly swept the ships’ decks clean before they left.

You can’t say that no one is hurt in these riots.
You can’t say that the rioters are CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES like the Sons of Liberty did.

The two protests are really not alike at all.

Where are the community leaders?

Start arresting the leaders of the riot.

One of your black lives matters buddies is out looting in Minnesota and gave an interview to the guy with CNN on the street in Minnesota. You must be proud.
