Yes. Like I said, death would be better than spending the rest of your life in a cage.

I don't look at it as in what's worse or not. Some people just deserve to die, imo, including child rapists and murderers. I'd add to my unpopular opinion that weed should be decriminalized, but more people should be put in prison for other offenses. There are a ton of shit bags out there who get to do whatever they want with no consequences because it isn't worth anyone's time to actually convict.

I don't necessarily disagree. I'm just not willing to risk putting an innocent person to death.
Groups such as the Congressional Black Caucus, Black Marketing Club, Black Miss America are racist and should not exist.
Trump supporters are retarded.

They may be "racist" by your belief but they are not hate groups, unlike many white "racist" groups.

That's a tough argument to make.

Well good thing there aren't white racist groups in congress. Black Caucus and Keith Ellison meeting with Farakhan on numerous occasions. Color over country isn't good for anyone.
posted by justincredibleI'm against the death penalty in all cases. The state shouldn't be in charge of putting people to death, as they've gotten it wrong many, many times. I'd rather a thousand guilty people stay alive in our prisons than execute one innocent person. I also believe a long life in prison is a worse punishment than death, so I'm not upset when truly guilty people live out their life in a cell.
Fair enough.
I don't believe it's really a deterrent and not enough are executed to make jail space. I don't agree with you but that is a fair arguments and one I cannot argue.
So I presume your pro life as well...
If you vote, you're part of the problem, not of the solution.
What substances you put into your body should be your business and yours alone.
The military is for defense. A decade-long invasion halfway around the world does not meet that definition. Want to honor those serving? Bring them home. Today.

I'd agree with th3 second part if that didn't lead to people doing stupid illegal shit that hurts or kills others.

- Never got dirty on the streets like Avon, Marlo, Omar etc
- Went behind his bosses back to have D killed
- Fucked D girl after he had him killed
- Got taken to the woodshed on a Blackfoot deal for $250k by Clay Davis
- Ratted out Avon, who to be fair, was making bad choices. But the rating out stemmed more from Stringers business failing
- Tried to have Omar killed on Sunday Truce day
Like I said, it’s controversial, but he had some bitch ass moves, and all in all, was only smart in the operations of the game. No business sense. Only knew how to make it tough for cops to pin anything on him and Avon.
His lack of street smarts was a liability. Seemed every season, Avon was lecturing him on doing something stupid he shouldn't have if he'd been thinking. The Sunday truce attempt in S3, talking to Mouzone in the hospital after setting Omar against him in S2 and sending Wee-Bay and the others after Orlando in S1 when there's no way he could naturally have the $$$ to make a big purchase without working with the cops.

Yeah making them illegal sure has done a great job of preventing that...
Also, do you have any data to support this? You're making it seem like the mass majority of crimes that harm/kill people were a result of somebody being "high" on something.

and those things are already illegal and should remain so. Doesn't justify what could happen as a crime. Taken to a absurd level, anyone getting behind the wheel of a car with a cell phone in their possession should be ticketed because of what it can lead to.

I think that usage of drugs is less than it would be than if they were legal.
I wholeheartedly believe that.
I believe a vast majority of people are good, law abiding citizens and don't partake in many things simply because they are against the law.
If you don't believe that being under the influence of drugs doesn't inhibit impuls3 control and leads to people doing stupid shit then I don't know what to tell you.
My controversial opinion........military people get too many discounts and perks

Never said that they were hate groups....just racist.
Please don't kid yourself....there are plenty of hate groups on both sides of the argument.
KKK - Black Panthers and the list goes on and on......
Reruns of Brady Bunch >>> Winter Olympics
AC/DC should have stopped in 1995
Rolling Stones should have stopped in 1985
The Jerky Boys are kind of stupid except for the very first time you hear them. That first listen is possibly the hardest laughing I've ever done.

Then why don't we ban alcohol again?

But, in your opinion, if heroin were legalized, these good, law-abiding citizens are going to rush to the store to try it?
One of my most controversial opinions, now that we're delving into the political...
ALL drugs should be legal. Yes, that includes heroin.

I agree. This could be a hot take, but I think the majority of millenials agree with this.
I know it sounds counterproductive, but legalizing it, or at least decriminalizing it, would go a long way towards ending the opioid crisis. Easier access to cannabis would also help.

It would also reduce the issue of people being concerned about prison costs, which would make your death penalty argument work better.
