Could not be more wrong about OB%.  Number one goal of any at bat is to not make an out.  Get on base without creating an out in the process is baseball in its most basic form.  Do that and it's a successful at bat.

It gets too much credit when a player gets intentionally walked or pitched around and adds to their stats. No skill involved in that. Defensive decision to let him get to first....and even more with 2 outs and no one on.

It can be the most important stat and still get too much credit.

Some of these aren't controversial enough.  Maybe because I agree, or it's the delivery.  If you post with an aggressive tone it will come off as more controversial.  For instance:

Hitler was not a crazed lunatic who was only good at speaking.  He was a dynamic and brilliant leader and that's what makes him 100 times  more scary than the characture.

Sorry about that Glenda the good witch opinion.  I know that one hurts to hear.  But be honest, Dorothy was a kid and it turned out that she could have gone home at anytime.  Rather than tell her that from the getgo, Glenda lets her suffer and risk death all so she can watch with that smart ass smile from her bubble.  Very sick.

Pets are not people.  I take good care of my dog, but my wife and sons come first if I have to choose.  Someone who has to give up a pet because of a new human family member is not a horrible person. 

Good lord, this.  If I have to get rid of a pet, I shed zero tears.  They are animals, and I have to feed them and clean up their shit.  We have over 20 animals, and I would be the same person if we had zero.  

Men and women are not equal.  

I think each have designed traits that are superior to the other, but overall, it's not equal.

I also hate when people say they are their pets' parents.  It is very cringeworthy when people refer to themselves or others as mommy/daddy when speaking about their pets.

Couldn’t agree more with the pets thing..I want to punch people in the face when I ask if they have kids and they mention their pets. I literally have a multi million dollar client who for the last three years we’ve had in our notes that she has two kids, but she recently just let us know that she doesn’t have actual kids, those two kids are her pets. Always wondered why they weren’t her beneficiaries. That explains why. Smh

On the pets thing, my wife and I don't go around telling people that our dog is our kid.  That's just in the house talk.  We have 6 kids and our dog is not included in that when we talk about our children.

Worked there for a period of time before taking a new job in Columbus.  I found it to be cliquish and not welcoming to people not born there.

Know alot of folks here that are from Cincinnati and they think it is that and a bag of chips.

Just don;t feel it.
