I've thought all along there hasn't been any evidence, but we will see.

Perhaps more interesting, if there isn't any evidence, is how everyone will spin (and would look forward to Bill Maher, and others, crying liking Trump just got elected all over again).  Also, if Mueller won't take the unusual step of interjecting a ton of supposition, opinion and unverifiable stuff so people can say "he's guilty, Mueller just couldn't prove it because Trump is going to pardon everyone for keeping silent".

No matter which side gets emotionally savaged over this debacle one thing is clear...

The memes will be great!

It still remains to be seen what verifiable evidence they had to justify the investigation.  Gates and Manifort had already been investigated, and I don't know if those investigations had been officially closed but they had not been charged.  I think Carter Page had popped on the radar in the past.

So I don't think those people, plus the Dossier bullshit, is nearly enough to justify the anal probe of the Trump campaign.

I think Flynn absolutely should be pardoned.  Papadopoulus only got 2 weeks, but whatever.

Cohen is a slime, and probably should be convicted by the state of NY.  But the federal case against him is a process crime over what may be nothing more than a politically motivated illegal investigation.  Same for Roger Stone, even if he's a loser, too.

So really they should all get pardons.  Which leaves us with Manafort and Gates.  While I think they belong in jail, the fact remains they are only in jail because of this investigation.

IMO, it all depends on what evidence there actually was of collusion.  Forget the "obstruction" BS - you can't obstruct a witch hunt.  No evidence of collusion, then it would probably be politically expedient for Trump to pardon everyone, and leverage it to play the victim and paint Democrats as the true fascists and threat to Democracy.  If there is some damaging evidence, then Flynn is probably the only one who should get a pardon.  Maybe Roger Stone, too.

So perhaps we are now approaching the mega drain-the-swamp moment.  Going after all the insiders who just attempted the overthrow of the president will not only be just, but healthy, and no doubt rather comedic.  Let the games begin.

Looking forward to the pending investigations of those who attempted to throw the election, then attempted the coup, then tried to cover it up.  Nice to hear that Barr will be getting to the bottom of the spying, collusion, and abuse of power.

As soon as you get one those crooks gets put in a locked room looking at prison time they will sing.  Lots of people going to jail if cards are played right.

My prediction is that it will be Strok or McCabe that will tattle on the rest.  As soon as Clinton gets in there is when you find out it went all the way to BHO

Put me down for no indictments.  Then the pendulum will swing back to "see - the investigation was justified, so that means there was evidence of collusion".

Well, that might explain why Manafort and Gates hadn't been previously indicted.  Although in this case it looks like everyone was pretty much ignoring the foreign agent registration act, until Mueller came along.

I wouldn't call it a coup, but questions need answered.  The "resistance" movement, including the media, sprung into action hours after Trump's election.  As an effort to obstruct and undermine Trump, that sham investigation is right in the wheelhouse of a community organizer from Chicago.

2 things:

1. By literal definition is was a coup attempt.

2.  They didnt "spring" into action "after" the election.....this thing started months if not years before

Are you saying you believe an investigation into the foundations and merits of this spying operation is unnecessary?  You're 100% convinced that this was all above board?

Jesus you are either dense as hell or just a blind partisan hack that can't admit what was going on.

So who was attempting to seize power then?  Mike Pence?

Trump must be pretty stupid to pick a VP who conspired to overthrow him.
