How does that apply to the debt ceiling?

And before anyone says the part about paying back past debts…the debt ceiling doesn’t stop that, it stops NEW debt. Huge difference.

How dumb do you have to be to think a 6-month pregnant PA is trying to steal a rental bike from a kid?

Although, we'll see who produces an actual receipt.  Possible it was just a fight over the last remaining bike.  We'll see.

I posted the video a few posts above, there were multiple bikes. And her lawyer has the receipts. Hope she sues a lot of people.

Yeah, I'm supposed to believe that the pregnant woman who just got off a long shift and is literally straddling the bike in the video somehow muscled her way through a group of large male yutes to steal their bike? Sure, that could be the case, but Occam's Razor seems like it would apply here. She got on the bike, paid, started to leave but was essentially held hostage for social media points. Again, I'm more than happy to be proven wrong here.

Her lawyer says she has receipts to prove she paid for the bike. I'd also be surprised if there isn't CCTV footage of the entire incident available somewhere.

The whole thing is a little bizarre. Why would the hospital put her on leave immediately when she could presumably produce the receipt, or they review the CCTV you refer to?  Could have been a precaution on their part, but seems strange.

It also seemed a little odd that she refers to "my fetus".  She does also refer to "my unborn child".  I'll let it slide as just being ingrained as the proper medical term for a PA, otherwise I can't imagine another pregnant woman referring to her "fetus" unless she's uber-woke.

The absolute zeal the mob on twitter took on twitter in attempting to ruin her life was quite the scene. They doxxed her, her husband, her home address.

I dont understand if you paid for the bike why not say hey i paid for it turn your phone around and show the number problem solved.  The guy says he paid for it 10 times, she doesnt say she paid for it once.  Its weird.  Either way her behavior was bizarre but i dont think she deserves what she's getting.  I also don't think those guys in the video are thugs or were trying to steal the bike either.  They seem like nice people also.   Its possible when dealing with an app that they both could be right or they both could be mistaken.

also as to why they may have been arguing over a certain bike when their were others is because some bikes are nicer/newer apparently

The mark of the useful idiot --  it's never your fault, it's always something nefarious they did. Does a great job in eliminating things like self-assessment and coming to grips with how a large segment of the population doesn't actually agree with all of your stances now that you've joined the left in going all-in on culture wars! My guess is his always truthful boy Tariq Nasheed.

I’m not even arguing they might not have both “thought” they paid for it. But if he was so certain, how was she on the bike? Also, multiple news outlets have verified her receipts and matched the bike.

If I'm in that situation, I'm going to error on the side of letting the woman have the bike. I'm certainly not going to physically stop her and record the interaction. As long as I'm not on the hook for paying for her ride, I'm giving her the bike.

But she didn’t tho. Her lawyer said he had it. Then provided a a blurry screenshot of the video where you can’t make out the serial number. He also provided nothing with a time stamp. This is per reporters who contacted him today to verify his claims. 

I don’t care either way and she could in fact be in the right. But at this time they haven’t posted any proof to anyone unless you have a picture or a link to anything other than her lawyers statement

I believe it was in the ben crump thread maybe.. there was a news paper article and a couple of tik toks .. they cast doubt on if there  is a clear picture of the serial number for the bike is what others stated who saw the pics. I took a deep dive in thr comments of a few posts..I’m about to play 9 holes with my wife and then I’ll check. Like I said I’m not saying she didn’t have a receipt for the bike, but I mean it would be pretty easy for her lawyer to just post a picture right? Just like it would have been easy for her to show on her phone that the bike was hers. It’s just weird. I hope she does have a reciept for the bike. There were plenty of people on both sides sharing things. I don’t follow him I don’t even know who he is. Once I started reading from the link that was posted here which was ben crump so I started reading it 🤷‍♀️. After that my “for you” section on Twitter became a multiverse of this topic. I started the day thinking she showed proof just as you did and now doubts have entered my mind.
